im not sure how they will handle uc to uc transfers this year , with the budget cuts and all…

wouldn’t it be the same cost to them regardless of what uc we are going to though? your point definitely makes sense, but maybe more so in regards to csu or other 4 year schools. at least, that’s what i’m hoping :P

Anyone is EECS/Materials Science and Engineering? Is it easier to get in since there is less applicants?

just to throw it in here…

when you guys talk about not having over 70 units… do you guys include ap units as well?

i will be having 9 semester units from another UC (quarter system converted) , 52 from a CCC (if i take the the planned courses) and 11 from ap courses.

Now that the whole application process is over…here comes the waiting game, sigh. What will you be doing?

^ If you’ve got the right level of patience and estrogen, grow a beard until results come in.

First, I wish everyone the best of luck! The economy isn’t on our side but hopefully we all get in.

Relatively uncompetitive gpa for econ for ucb and ucla. But that might be forgiven based on the fulltime job and still doing well in school. Other schools no need to ask for chances :p

Hmmm.

I applied for Fall 2009 like everyone else, TAG and IGETC things all settled. For UCSD, anyone know if is it a bad sign for my admission if I’m still planning on completing one last pre-req over the summer?

Alright, since no one gave me an answer earlier I’m gonna re-post.

I’ll probably get in for Sociology though…

Does anybody know anyone who got into UCLA for Biz Econ major with 3.4 ~ 3.5 gpa?
Of course prolly have be TAP certified for that GPA range.

I know someone with TAP who got in with a 3.6 last year, but not 3.5 GPA. She had quite a lot of ECs though. But personally, I think she was lucky cause it would be one of those “borderline” cases.
