if your not a child molester, nazi, or dane cook fan…or you didn’t mention you were on your application, a 4 year old could tell you your getting into cal and la

what if “your” all three?

I see what you’re did there.

Mind you he’s applying to Haas, and there is never a guarantee for Haas. UCLA should be a lock, though.

I dont think theres a guarantee for UCLA BizEcon either…

do i have absolutely any chance as an out-of-state transfer?

I have a 4.0 in my CCC classes and had a 3.5 at UCSB. I also managed to finish fall 08 with a 4.0 while taking 23 units.

i will give you a million dollars if you don’t get in.

hopefully you’re referring to me so thanks!

By reading all the posts I suddenly feel that my chance is getting pretty ugly. I never thought that EC is such an important factor. Well, let me start with my facts first:

Apply to: UCB ( no backups, either in or screwed ) College of Environmental Design (seems like it’s not an easy department to get in with admission rate of 23%? Can’t compare with Haas, tho)
From:cc
GPA:4.0 so far (having some tough classes at hand right now)
EC: No!!!No nothing!!! (I guess even with a 4.0 GPA, my chance is getting ugly)
But I’m a first time Mom, married with a one year old child. She’s really keeping me handful.

Good Luck to everyone

yes i was referring to you, and i really wish i had your gpa (i’m applying to berk and econ for the same things)

themediocre: in at uci and ucsd, ucb and la id say 4/10.

Chances?
To:UCLA
GPA: 3.5
Major: Mathematics of Computation
Interests: Basketball/Computers
EC: PTK
Done w/ igetc and all prereqs by end of spring.
TAP Certified.

I’m not sure what my gpa is yet because my teachers haven’t posted my recent grades, so I’m going to estimate.

School: PCC
GPA: (worst case scenario) 3.78 (but best case scenario, if my grades were okay) 3.87
Major: English
Applying to: UCLA (TAP) and UCB*
Extra curricular:
-lab tech at this biomed school. We published a paper (20 hr wk for 1 yr, no pay)
-and I’m doing a really prestigious biomed internship this summer as well
-president of a club which raises $ to send books to schools that have no libraries
-I write for the newspaper
-I’m an English tutor @ my school

^that’s about it. My really big ECs have nothing to do w/ English though. Is that bad? Should I get more involved? It’s just I don’t know what to do that relates w/ English. If I end up getting a 3.78, does that put me in the lower percentile in being competitive?
