<p>Got into UCLA and CAL last year with a 3.57, and if for some reason I don’t get into UCLA again, I have CAL to fall back on.</p>
<p>why are you applying again if you got in last year?</p>
<p>Went to CAL, **** happened right before school began, and I had to withdraw. Could have gone back for spring, but I decided to take the year off as I realized I’d probably be better off going to UCLA.</p>
<p>UCLA’s philosophy department is not very competitive and considering how high your GPA is in comparison to last years’ (3.55), I would say you are well on your way to becoming a Bruin.</p>
<p>So I’m currently a student at UCI and I don’t like it.
