Also I was wondering if anybody else had a similar problem - my application status reads "incomplete" and lists my HS transcript as the only thing unprocessed, BUT it lists my HS name in the comment, similar to how it lists your standardized test score in the comment next to the date processed, which (to me at least) implies that it was received. I also received the e-mail that said ""thank you for your interest and application as a transfer student ... your application has been received and is being processed" implying that it's complete. I'm probably worrying about nothing haha but it seems weird to me.

I had the same problem. I just contacted the office and they said they have everything. I’m sure you do as well and novasis has not been updated yet. As soon as I contacted them, they changed my incomplete status on novasis. As far as decisions, business applicants will not hear back for a few more weeks (all I know is by May 15), and the other schools should hear back before that.

I also have an incomplete status with just the high school transcript missing, but I agree that they most likely just need to finish processing all of the info.

What schools are you coming from? Also, do you know what you would like to do about housing since on-campus is most likely out of the question?

worry about one thing at a time…dont worry about housing until you are accepted…if you are lucky enough to be accepted, know that most if not all transfer students are placed off campus at rosemont college’s Kaul hall…it is like a 3-5 min drive from nova’s campus and the transfer student there develop into a very closeknit community…transfers living at kaul are also authorized to have cars, while other sophomores are not…while living at rosemont has some drawbacks, many of the transfers i have talked to genuinely enjoyed it because of the friends they made as a result…my .02

So I got a letter from nova the other day and opened it up and saw a reply-envelope inside and immediately thought it was an acceptance. It turned out to be a follow-up form to the application with a check-box asking whether or not you were ever convicted of a crime.

Did anybody else get this and have the same reaction? Haha.

It got sent to my house and my mom called me. She told me it was a small envelope so I actually thought it was a rejection. I was relieved to hear it was just asking about prior convictions!

Yeah first I thought rejection because of the size, then I thought acceptance because of the reply-envelope. I wish they could’ve just asked that on the application like everyone else lol.

Same, this is all so frustrating. I’m applying as a transfer student and it states that my high school/college transcript is missing, but I know for sure that I sent it. I contacted admissions via email and they said they don’t have these documents. Makes no sense. This is kind of turning me off to the school.

i emailed them cause they said I was missing information, when they emailed me back whoever it was said they have all the documents and the only thing they will need is spring grades, and to send them asap.

no probably not, but since I only have 25 units completed 22 at the time they reviewed my app, I think they jsut want to see second semester grades to make sure I am keeping my grades up

One person I spoke to told me they don’t review VSB candidates until after graduation (may 16th). However, I asked if I could have a decision by the 15th because that is when my deposits at other schools are due and the person I spoke to said they should be done by then anyways. Waitlisted freshman have been to told to respond by the 12th so I’m thinking we should hear back between the 12th and 15th…
