<p>Hey All!
I thought this would be a cool place to discuss the school, our stats, and eventually our admissions decisions.</p>
<p>Applied Early Action
I'm applying with a 24 ACT, 1770 superscore SAT, 3.35 UW, with only ONE (yes...one) AP class, and one college class.
I'm applying under Creative Producing in Dodge College. I was originally planning on Film Production, but decided against it after seeing the admit rate. I also took Political Science over the summer at the local JC, and we had a unit on media management which I found very interesting, so Creative Producing sounded like the best choice for me.
I've been making movies and doing video at my high school for as long as I can remember, and I love it all!
I really like Chapman because of it's location, as well as it's size and reputation. When I personally think of film schools, I think of USC, UCLA, NYU, and Chapman, so I feel like it is really an up and coming school, and I hope I get in!</p>
<p>I’m applying Fall 2010.</p>
<p>I’m international so my stats are a little different, but I got a 1270 (M+CR) SAT score (one sitting), currently awaiting ACT results, taken all college prep classes with mostly A’s and 1 B.</p>
<p>A few unusual extra curriculars such as starting my own business at age 11, and website design. Tennis for 10 years etc is pretty standard I guess.</p>
<p>I’m applying to Business-Entrepreneurship. Hopefully with a sizeable scholarship (Otherwise I won’t be able to go

Film Production

Weighted GPA: 3.83
4 AP classes
Secretary of NHS, volunteer work, held 4 different jobs throughout high school, played soccer/basketball/track, and various other activities</p>
<p>I’m from Massachusetts and I’m dying over here waiting for my decision to come in the mail. I can not stop second-guessing my application, especially my video. I really, really want to go to Chapman!</p>

Television and Broadcast Journalism

<p>I am from Alaska and have tons of community service hours and have taking 4 AP classes with 5 tests. In a bunch of clubs including limited sports.</p>
<p>I am really hoping to get in!</p>

<p>I am from Texas. I have accumulated many community service hours from variety of locations from churches to nursing homes. </p>
