<p>You guys ucsd don’t require a 3.0 unweighted GPA for senioryear right? Its 3.0 weighted? I swear if I’m wrong I’m going to be so sad.</p>
<p>Relax sadnap. All UCs except UC Berkeley and UC Los Angeles require at least a weighted GPA of 3.0 for each senior semester. Note, however, that no grades may be a D. Even AP courses are not allowed to be a D. So, think of it like this. These guidelines may be effective:</p>
<p>For all UCs except UC Berkeley and UC Los Angeles:</p>
<ul>
<li> Each Senior semester GPA must be at least 3.0 weighted</li>
<li> No class may have a D or F grade (no lower than a C), even if the class is an Honors or AP class</li>
</ul>
<p>Effectively, the lowest grade each class can be is a C. However, if you take all normal classes, obviously each class cannot be a C, as you will have a weighted GPA below 3. (that rhymed ;D)</p>
<p>Realistically, the lowest grades you can get during your Senior year are: C’s for Honors and AP classes, B’s for other classes.</p>
<p>UC Berkeley and UC Los Angeles place the bar a bit higher. Go check their website for the minimum GPA.</p>
