<p>I like Davis, but its too near from my house and I really wanna explore once I get in college.</p>
<p>I also love SoCal’s weather a lot more than NorCal’s</p>

<p>ummm… davis didnt give a date when admissions would be out… did i miss it? And Davis, the campus, really is NOT a farm. its very far from it. I mean there are cows but they are way off to the side, its not like ur on ur way to class and a cow goes by haha.</p>
<p>My friend and I just got calls, pretty much at the same time. We are from the same school (about 45 min away from UCSD) and our last names start with the same letter!</p>

<p>I sort of wished I applied to Davis, but it has no pharmacy program :(. Are there really a lot of cows there? What are they for? And what is Davis’ mascot? What is an Aggie? I applied to UCI and I love the campus, the only thing I hate about it is that it’s too close to my house.</p>
<p>The cows are just… there haha idk there is surrounding like pastures. they have horses too for equestrian studies. and the mascot is a horse.</p>
<p>@bookworm522 Does it sound weird that I think it’s cool to have cows at your college? Or is it just because they seem so random? It’s like how I like how UCI has an anteater for their mascot. It’s odd, but cool.</p>

its different haha. the only thing people complain about is the smell sometimes, but as far as ive heard, u either get used to it or its not THAT bad</p>

<p>I’m guessing it’ll be around 3-6 tomorrow afternoon. We might not get an email so just check the tritonlink admissions thing. I know for UCSC I knew i got in from that portal before i got an email</p>

They said I was part of a “very small group of applicants [they] are actually calling”</p>

<p>Okay, I’m ending this right now. I go to high school in Davis. It’s a flipping awesome town. It’s quiet, sure, but drive an hour and you’re in San Francisco. Go another hour the other way and your skiing in Tahoe. It’s been ranked one of the best (and last) true college towns in the nation.</p>
