lol, nice thanks for uploading. Looks exactly like the registration packet all over again, lol.

do you use a sleeping bag as a blanket or do you just sleep in a sleeping bag period?

Close-up comforter shot. One of the many amenities I’ll throw in if you take over my lease this summer.

I am glad I now have the distraction of trying to sell my house so I don’t go too crazy

On that note, anybody want to buy a house “down the Jersey Shore?” LOL

I’m on my way home now…long night at school…& No thx Baxter…no more debt, I can only imagine what my staford loan would look like at the end of my 3yrs or 4yrs (I have a keen interest in the dual program from GS & the business school) …I’m from NJ too and the propert taxes…hmm a part of life that I don’t want to savor just yet. Ill leave that until after I get my PhD…I’m sure it will be much less painful to incur tax expenses then…I’m on a lease too for now and will be for a while…unless of course…I win the lottery and can make some cash-flow transactions ;)

You sure you don’t want to live next to the wonderful Point Pleasant boardwalk? LOL Taxes aren’t that bad down here but want to sell before I start school in the fall, Columbia or not

I don’t even wait by the phone as much as dreading to check the mailbox :P

speaking of leases/houses/the summer, if y’alls get accepted, are you planning on moving out there this summer or right when school starts?

Moving out during the summer here. Would prefer to get accustomed to my surroundings, see what stores are nearby, check the school out and get my room set up.

Hopefully today will be the day that some more people will hear back from admissions

…it’s the final countdown! Synthesizer solo*…

If they stick to the 4-6 week time frame (Which I have a feeling they are not going to), we should all be hearing very soon.

Synthesizer solo*… continues …lol … Love that song!
My plans were to commute, I live in north jersey so its a half hour drive (outside of rush hour of course, otherwise its more like 2 hours!) but my choice of transportation would be train. I can always take the train (not far from my house) and end up in NYC, it’s actually cheaper than driving there (if you take into consideration gas, $8 toll, driving an extra half hour to find parking, paying the broadway parking meters) I wonder if CU students have to pay parking meters though or get to park for free if they are students …hmm? also finding Parking is a nightmare in NYC- Broadway. When I went driving to the info session and for the GSAE I made sure I got there two hours earlier. I was there in half hour and finding parking took 45mins! The whole time I was nervousssss, I kept thinking about “what if I cant find parking and miss the exam” or be late for the info session (how responsible would that look!)…so I am better off with the choo choo train :)

Invic I’m from Bergen county I’m gonna ride the silver bullet. Driving I out of the Q. I go to Bergen community college and here parking is not an issue lol

I plan to move to woodbridge…they have plenty of express trains that only stop at Newark then Penn station

Broh…What I meant was that finding parking in NYC - Broadway, specifically, is really bad & time consuming for sure, that is if you decide to drive to CU and park there. Taking the train is wayyy efficient…
Small world - I’m from Garfield -so we will probably cross paths :-o …(I’m a PCCC -PTK) are you BCCC-PTK and did you go to the PTK regional convention?

Actually, it’s the Upper West Side so parking, relatively speaking, is cheap and plentiful. Try parking by Riverside Church or by Morningside Park.

■■■■! I live on Albert next to banta! Lol

I remember going around circles in amsterdam, broadway, and the near by streets…just looking for parking. I will try riverside church for sure next time I drive there, if it doesnt work I’ll come back to this forum and find you! …lol …jk :)
