Fall 2011 Admission Decisions

I don’t mind looking it over.

Johnny, I feel your pain…I even stopped my melodramatic spurts of expression. I am not giving up yet, I trust that Good Friday will bring forth some blessings. Amen!

dreamchild i’d send it but I need to be able to email it to you, and your profile doesn’t give me that option :(

Don’t give up your spurting, Invictvs! Then I will have to fill your shoes and I don’t think I am nearly as qualified!

If anyone from GS Admissions reads this thread: I’m James R. from Glendale, CA, and even though you’re 3 hours ahead, I don’t mind receiving calls at anytime! In fact, I would love a call from you!

lol @ james again.

Hey guys! I have a question, who here is a Veteran? And what branch?

Invic at this rate we all will be at a convalescent home playing bingo…here’s the Metamucil take a hit pass it on…

Hopefully you guys(and gals) hear in the next couple hours before the dreaded weekend of wait

Hmmmm…next week I guess…

So…
Got a call today at 1pm PST…it was to set up an phone interview for next week with the Admission Director.
Anyone with experience of this process? Also, anyone have thoughts that the interviewer will be the Admission Director vs. an Columbia alumni?

Thanks

Cking - congrads! A phone interview is better than a phone rejection!

I have a feeling they move from acceptances, to phone interviews, to rejections – unless anyone knows differently?

I believe I saw an earlier post by a GS student who stated last year they notified people actually AFTER may 1st? Maybe this will happen again?

Awesome CKing!

We can only hope Philly. We have all of next week, but after that, I’m packing up and moving on.

yes, thats what I am telling myself right now…at least my app still has a “heart beat”

I received one acceptance today in the mail, but it wasnt Columbia LOL. However, I feel better that acceptance letters are starting to roll in at least.

The admissions director is a nice guy…I have met with him before

I’m definitely leaning that way Philly. Acceptances, interviews, rejections. No one was accepted (of the thread posters/readers) the last few days. We only know of phone interviews (which are great in their own right). I would love to be proved wrong. I would love to see another one of us post some positive news. I would love to be one of those positive news posters! It’s just getting discouraging at this point. I’ll fight on to the end though, 'cause that’s what I do!

lol Random! I’ve been receiving an abundance of pre-approved credit card offers lately!

I’m simply happy to see the thread back to life today was very quiet. Let’s stay positive is nit over till the fat lady sing.

@Brohlijk: I’m a Navy vet, finished 10 years in late 2009.
