<p>I just took a look at the list. My older son was not on the list. He has over a 4.0 as a Senior. I will ask him if he knows he is not on the list.</p>

<p>Is the list based on the GPA for just last semester, or is it based on the cumulative GPA for all semesters that a student has attended?</p>

<p>^^^It’s not cumulative. It’s for Fall 2011 only.</p>

<p>My son said he had only 9 undergraduate credits thus fall with the rest being graduate level credits. That would explain why his name was not on the Dean’s List last semester.
It’s all good, congratulations to all the students for their dedication and hard work.</p>

<p>We would be happy for advice on the honor societies as well. Glad to see all four roomies on this list - no awkward moments:-)</p>

<p>Invites can quickly get out of hand as all these various societies issue invites.</p>

<p>My kids limited acceptances to:</p>

<p>Phi Beta Kappa
Phi Kappa Phi
the one associated with each of their majors (math and engineering)
Mortar Board</p>
