Big School here...lots of Lurkers...Check your app status, son (OOS) accepted (last few days) and it's on his "application status" web page. URI's status page is a lot more complicated than others. You have to sign into e-campus, didn't think these were going to be released for awhile.

Thanks for the heads up… My son also got in for the Pharm D program.

yeah! thanks i wouldnt have realized haha. Accepted =)

It says that everything is complete but there is no decision…did all of you apply early action? I applied regular even though everything was really sent out by Dec 1st…will I get a decision soon?

Congrats to you guys :D

thanks! yeah I applied Early Action. if you applied regular decision you will find out later… but you will probably be one of the first who know from the RD pool of applicants.

The website says that I have everything in but I cannot seem to find where the admission answer would be. Can somebody describe where on the site they saw this please?

Hannah

i dont even use the website, i just checked once in october to make sure all my stuff was in
i just waited until i got the letter in the mail, which i got really early. the ea deadline was 12/1 and i got my acceptance 12/4

what are your stats…my D applied EA into nursing and haven’t heard anything yet. she is 3.0, 24 act, 1 AP class, honors classes since freshman year.

My Son stats were ACT 33, GPA 3.8 uw 4.2 w top 6% class rank

@NEcollegebound - Just wanted to let you know that Nursing decisions should be out; I just received mine today. Best of luck to your daughter!

44albums…I looted in and still nothing. What are your stats? Did you put a back up major and what does it say on the ecampus when you are accepted? Thank you

Congrats everyone! Yes, I am also wondering where the decisions are located on the website. Is it really obvious? Do you see it once you log on?

Hi All - Just checked S’s URI status and when you open it up right below the Admission Status boxes (cells) with all term, career, major, app number and app date it says:

Congratulations! You have been accepted for admission to the University of Rhode Island. Your letter of admission will be mailed soon, and it will provide specific information about the major to which you have been accepted and other details about your acceptance to URI.

To reserve a space in the incoming class, you may pay your deposit online using the following navigation: Menu > Self Service > Student Admission > Enrollment Deposit Payment or you may pay at [Admission - University of Rhode Island](http://www.uri.edu/admission) by clicking on “Pay Your Deposit Online” in the upper right corner. If you prefer, you may send a check for your deposit with the “Enrollment Form” included in your acceptance packet. (Your deposit must be postmarked by the date stated in your acceptance letter.)

We are delighted to welcome you to the University of Rhode Island and hope you’ll choose to join us on our beautiful, historic campus!

It is not obvious at first - as the acceptance screen looks the same (as I recall) . I would guess the letter will arrive soon.

Good Luck to everyone

ugh I have similar stats to “Gogiantsfan29”'s son, but still no chance in status. D:

When are decisions supposed to come out by?

illusion- When did you apply… My son applied i think mid october…We heard a few weeks ago along with the merit aid…Good luck to you.

^^^ What was the amount of merit aid? I guess a FUll Tuition? Ain’t it? Congrats though.

I applied in early november… NO decision posted yet… BTW I had way less stats than your Son.

An ACT 33 is superb. You son should consider the Top Colleges. ! All the best to your son.

I applied in mid-November…that’s probably why…

Hi,
He got 14,000 in merit aid per year. He did apply to some top schools and got in… but URI is still on the table as he is looking into Pharmacy Program. Both Myself and my husband went there also…
We are just going to wait until all the FA packages come in and see what looks best…
Good luck to you all…

THANK YOU to all on this thread. We had not heard from URI yet on our Early Action application, but since it was my son’s #3 school, we were hoping to hear before Christmas. Based on the posts on this thread, my son logged on URI’s website last night and got the GREAT news that he was accepted. Having only heard from a couple of his “safety” schools, this news takes off SO much pressure ! Good Luck to all !

Looked on line today and accepted for Journalism/Communications. Can you look on line to see about Merit Awards?
