Fall 2011 Decisions!

Got in as an in stater, however I’m not going! Congrats to all of you who got in and will be attending. I only received 4k total scholarship which I was really surprised about. Oh well, luck of the draw!

people who have been accepted to pharmD - what are your stats? i applied in november and recently sent them my 1st quarter grades, and still nothing…i’m not too worried about getting in, just worried about getting accepted pharmD

I am wondering the same thing. My son got accepted at URI but in his packet there was not mention of merit aid. He has recieved merit add - 10k+ from each of the 5 other schools he has applied to. Wondering if the merit scholarship letter comes seperatley. Any idea?

Hey what’s up guys. URI’s my top choice right now but I dunno if I can get in. My major WILL be computer programming. Im in 5 clubs right now, 2 are in which computer programming clubs and I have got a professional internship as a computer programmer for a company. My average is 78% unweighted and 84% weighted. I also have a recommendation from math, social studies, and my guidence counselor. But I didn’t take the sat’s yet, but my psats were around 1500. U guys think I have a chance of getting in?

Daughter was accepted from out of state with merit money into PharmD program. SAT 1920, ACT 30. Rigorous course load and good ECs.

Same exact thing happened to me expect I got into uri today

Glory12,
We’re in the same situation and wondering the same thing. I’m wondering if all the aid was given out to EA applicants? It seems like most people who got aid found out in their acceptance letter.

Merit aid is only given out to early action applicants.

I just got accepted to URI’s pharmD program.
Also accepted to St. Johns, USP, deferred by Northeastern. Waiting to hear from MCPHS.

I also received 14K$ in centennial scholarship for the first 4 years.

I really want to take a campus visit before I decide, I do like that its a well rounded university with a real campus feel as compared to more technical schools like USP and MCPHS…

I was accepted early January into URI’s pharmD. I am 75% likely going there. Does anyone know how the students in the program already like it? I’m going to do the online chat on February 24th, but I thought I would ask here first.

@emilyisemily pretty much the same situation…except I didn’t apply to USP. I got accepted in St. John’s and URI and deferred by Northeastern. From what I’ve seen around the threads, a lot of people have been deferred this year.

Accepted Out of State but can’t go becasue its 38,000 Whopping dollars.

3.0 GPA
1180 SAT (610 MA and 570 CR)
1770/2400 (+590 WR)

Very good EC’s
