I applied to 3 other UC’s LA, Berkley, SD but UCR is my top pick.

I got into UCR ^_^

If I don’t get into my top 5 choice colleges, I will be on my way to UCR haha

I heard they have a nice biz program, but I got accepted into econ… if I go there, I’m debating on whether or not I should double major (Econ/ Pre-Biz?)

Stats:
Cumulative GPA- 3.15 UW, 3.45 W
SAT I- 2170
SAT II (terrible, I didn’t think they mattered? :/)- 690 Math, 670 Lit, 620 History

and I don’t feel like listing extracurrics. :D

I’m really banking on UCSB though. Gosh, I wish.
But UCR’s not as bad as people make it to be.

mezaruben93: what were you majoring in?

& does anyone know how the order of sending the acceptances is for UCR?

pie759, what were your stats if you don’t mind telling?

@asdfjklxD: Undeclared

I’m so anxious to hear from UCR already!
I only applied to 5 colleges (4 UCs, 1 CSU), and UCR is one of my tops.

Accepted into Biological Sciences! :)

I visited the campus the other day and it was nicer that I had expected! I wouldn’t mind going there.

My DD also got accepted to UCR this week! She recieved her acceptance via email. I was a bit concerned and thought it was spam so I called UCR to verify. Congratulations to everyone accepted.

I was just wondering, where would the notification for scholarships and/or financial aid be in the MyUCR portal?

@ amdg; i got the $1k scholarship (“Highlander Excellence Scholarship”) and it was located on the first page after i signed in/the page that said i was admitted.

"Congratulations!! You have been admitted to the major of Psychology in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences for Fall 2011. We’re excited you chose UC Riverside! You will be receiving your Official Admission Information packet in the mail very soon. Watch for it!
We have more GREAT NEWS for YOU!

Based upon your academic achievements, you have been selected to receive one of the University’s prestigious awards, the Highlander Excellence Scholarship. As a Highlander Excellence Scholar, you will receive an award of $1,000 per year for a total of 4 years ($4,000 total) as long as you attend UC Riverside and meet the annual requirements. Again, congratulations!! To accept your scholarship, please review and accept the terms and conditions. Accepting the scholarship does NOT obligate you to attend UC Riverside."

JelloBiafra, what were your stats?

I still haven’t recieved my admission status… I am so anxious right now! UC Riverside is one of my top choices D:

Is anyone still waiting to hear back? I’m just wondering if they are still sending acceptances out.

I’m still waiting. I don’t think there’s any order to it, particularly in terms of likelihood of acceptance; if they’ve already decided you’ll be rejected, you would know by now.

Glad to hear if a complete no…we would have heard. This waiting is stressful.
