They do have a discussion board on Facebook. They seem to answer most of the questions posted there. They say they will be done with decisions by the end of the month…

Oh okay, thanks DJB.

And congrats lakerace. :)

I logged on today and got the pop up screen saying I was rejected, but I was asked if I wanted to join the Wait List and check either “yes” or “no”

I had considered UC Riverside to be a “safety UC” for me, but I suppose I was wrong. I don’t think I’ll be getting into any of the UCs I applied to (7), I’ve already been rejected from 3 (Santa Cruz, San Diego, Riverside).

^uh oh. Doesn’t look good for son.

Condolences.

In January it was said

[UC Riverside grows in popularity - Los Angeles Times](UC Riverside grows in popularity)

"Susan Wilbur, UC’s director of undergraduate admissions, said the university expected to admit all eligible applicants this year and maintain its 31,500 freshman enrollment target for California residents, despite the $500-million budget cut proposed by Gov. Jerry Brown.

“We are committed to finding a space for everyone,” she said."

Wait listed too…bleh…

I still have the “We’re reviewing 30,000 apps blah blah” does that mean I’m pretty much rejected?

@california510 that’s exactly how I feel right about now.

Waitlisted.

I got waitlisted as well…
This ruined my day…and I just got up.

Looks like I have to cross my fingers for Cal Poly and the other UCs.

I got accepted. 3.67 gpa, 1880 sat. I’m guessing if you have at least a 3.4 you’re accepted since my friend had 3.4 and she got in

Well, I had a 3.52. I doubt they really only look at that.

Sigh still same “reviewing 30,000 apps” pretty good chance I’ve been rejected 3.2UW / 1980 / 660ush / 680math2.
I dont know why they havent just posted a rejection, no point of keeping false suspense around

there’s a chance that they’re still reviewing your application. i haven’t heard back from other schools either, and their release process has begun. be patient!

for those waitlisted… you should def. wait because i believe only 25% of those admitted actually enroll… means they will have enough room to admit a lot of the waitlisted people, i suppose.

california you actually have a decent chance,or actually really good, to get in so don’t lose hope

anyone get in for ee?
i might end up going here

I applied for business major also if that matters. Most of the people I know who applied for that got in or out by now

i got in with a lil below 2.7 GPA for psych major if that gives you any hope lol…

^Could be different for transfers.

Woah a 2.7 o_o? Did you have amazing EC’s or SATS?
