Hello, I was wondering have any of you transfer students who applied for the Fall 2011 Quarter got any acceptance letters from the UC yet? So far, I got admitted to UCR but haven't received any notice from UCI and UCLA yet. I know that the last day for informing us is on April 30th. I'm not too worried about being rejected from any of the schools, however, I just wanted to know when UCI and UCLA typically sends out their acceptance letters. I'd gladly appreciate if you let me know. Thanks!

@leehana10, ucla is end of april, and UCI already started but will continue throughout end of April…goodluck =D

I think you should be alright. Seems very risky to only apply to one UC though. I was accepted to UCSC today as a 1 year transfer from CC, and I am waiting on UCSD, UCD, & UCSB (posting this upcoming Monday).
You’re ECs seem fine. I used high school ECs (President of Speech and Debate, AcaDeca, and I coached debate at Lincoln HS). I have a 4.0 right now and 47 credits (32 of which are from AP classes) and I am working on 16 more for this spring semester and will also be IGETC certified. The only thing I would be worried about is you’re GPA, especially because you’re not going applying through TAG (neither did I).

Best of luck.

I got accepted into UCSD with a TAG, but what happens if I don’t complete one class (French 2) for Spring and cannot get a FULL IGETC certification?

Hi I got accepted into UCR and UCSD. I’m still waiting for UCI, UCLA, and UCSB

@ Rosie

Hey, I got accepted to UCSD with a TAG also. Under the TAG agreement you MUST have full IGETC certification by the end of Spring. You should notify the admissions office at UCSD that you will be unable to complete the IGETC Certification, which will result in the revoking of your TAG. But don’t worry, your still have a chance to be admitted. They will now compare your application among all others who do not have a TAG.

I also got accepted into UCI

Question:
I was accepted to Cal and UCSD last year but did not complete my Transferable Math Class. What do you guys think about my chances this year about getting accepted to the two mentioned along with UCLA?

GPA: 3.74 (transferable). Accepted Last Year with 3.69
CCC credits complete at the end of spring '11: 63 credits, Accepted Last Year with 40
Major applied to: Legal Studies (Cal) and Poly Sci (SD and LA)
In the honors program at my CCC and have overcome 16 heart related surgeries in my life and will be the first 4 year college student in my entire families history.

Am I in, Again???
