Thanks Campaigner! I’m excited for the planning session- a friend of mine recently graduated from GS and she mentioned the same thing. I think that one of the most important things about attending is getting to meet people; in fact, my friends words were: “You’re paying to network with people, most of whom will do big things.” I love the whole vibe on the campus, been there a few times. So how do you feel about the academic side of everything? They’re evaluating my credits, of which I have about 65 currently (who knows what it be after they mutilate my course transcript haha).

Congratulations once again jacqueline!!! You were probably in like the first wave of applicant pools so the rest of us should be hearing back starting on Monday, hopefully! Still such a torturous wait. GS is actually very kind with credits I heard, of course by kind I mean you will retain like half.

Congratulations!

Just for giggles, I checked out the 2011 acceptance forum and forum buddy grethal was the first to get a call last year on 4/4. He submitted on 2/15, and fin aid login didn’t work at time of acceptance.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That’s so exciting!!

I was able to log into the financial aid site located here:

<a href=“(Columbia University) Student Log In”>https://studentviewer.finaid.columbia.edu/

I was not able to previously. I don’t know what (if anything) this means.

It means your in! Congratulations!

is the pin MM/DD/YYYY? or MM/DD/YY

I clicked the First Time User Button.

I still cannot log in. I hope this is not indicative of the worst.

I can’t either. Let’s not worry too much for now…until more people start finding out!

I can’t log in either.
Jacqueline: can you log in?

Yes I logged in today, but I had never tried to log in before today

Don’t worry too much. I read through the boards from last fall, and there were many who were unable to login even after getting the call and package.

Their systems refresh at midnight, so if you got your call Friday or Saturday, your info was probably passed on to Financial Aid sometime that day and your account creation on their end became active the night before or last night.

I also still cannot login. It’s Sunday so, I doubt anyone will get calls today.
So I’m breaking out my Columbia Mug
And sippin’ some joe.
Workin on class work
Steady she goes.*

Have a good morning everyone.

Well it’s Sunday evening and I know many people are anticipating tomorrow morning. I just wanted to take a minute and wish all prospective applicants luck I know that everyone has worked so hard to reach acceptance, not just academically, but throughout life and all its challenges. I truly wish everyone the best.

That’s very nice of you; thanks, Jacqueline.

A nice and semi-relaxing message. Thank you Jacqueline. I hope tomorrow is the big day for most of us! Even though I have 2 exams tomorrow, the moment my phone vibrates bathroom break!

Thank you very much, Jacqueline. Congratulations on your acceptance

grats and thank you jacqueline… well guys, anxiety will now reach its peak as we await our decisions…

Thank you Jackqueline.
