Hi everyone. I'm only starting this because I am very curious to see how many others are applying to transfer to Emory for the Fall.
I'm posting my info, and everyone is invited to do the same.

If you have prior experience transferring to Emory please feel free to post your stats and "Chance" anyone on this thread!

Stats:

Applying from a tier 2 state school, Honors College.

GPA: HS - 3.86UW / College - 3.78

Units: 27, plus either 12 or 15 in the spring.

Entering as a Sophomore

SAT: 1890
ACT: 30 (Willing to retake if there's any reason that would help, but from what I understand after 30 hrs SAT/ACTs don't really matter)

ECs:
lots of volunteer work
a summer internship,
co-captain of debate team for one semester,
vice pres of French club for two semesters,
I'm planning on getting involved in debate again, history club, and trying to get research positions in my major fields of interest (econ and gov).

Sport:
varsity baseball and basketball in HS
club lax and tennis in college.

All advice is appreciated, for sure. Where did you transfer from? What were your college stats? Did you do anything on your app that you think significantly helped? Did you you have any standout ECs?

Hello All!!
