<p>What makes you think so, if I may ask.</p>

<p>I think you might get “select wait list”, which means you are on the wait list for the fall, but are admitted for the spring. So, if you opt to stay on the wait list, you might get in for the fall, but, if not, you can go in the spring. And I know that they do take people off the wait list.</p>

<p>I am basing this on my older daughter’s result. She got select wait list. Her GPA was lower than yours, 91.5, I think, and her ACT was slightly higher, 27. </p>

<p>You seem like the kind of student Geneseo is wonderful for! Really involved, motivated and intelligent. Geneseo is aware that test scores don’t always translate and they really try to look at the whole package, but my advice would be call admissions regularly and make the application process personal so that they can consider your character and dedication to the school before the make a decision. If it’s not too late, even interviewing before March would be helpful. but call and see what they can do for you!</p>
