Idk how anyone can feel like they have a 50/50 chance with a ~10 percent acceptance rate.

I wish I felt that confident lol.

“4 times? Wow. I hope you don’t mind me asking but, what are your stats?”

@DJRicoTico
They have varied at times of my application. I first applied after my first quarter in college for Spring 2011. That time I had no chance, my GPA was 3.2 and I had no ECs. I applied again for fall 2011 and my gpa was a little above 3.5, again I had no chance. I applied again for Spring 2012 and was told that they did not have space to accept transfers.

This time I have a 3.67 and a year of student government as my primary EC activity as well as involvement in some clubs.

“4 times? Nice! That has to be some sort of record lol.”

@khumdawn

I know, right?! I find it highly amusing that I’m still trying to get in

It was my “dream school” that I didn’t find out about until after I graduated from high school. But now I like where I currently attend and have also been accepted to UCLA so I really don’t mind if I don’t get in…again!

15% acceptance

Has anyone got email yet?!

I didn’t know the exact acceptance rate, hence the “~”…15 percent is still very, very low.

@kimstyles

No, I haven’t. I looked through the past threads and people usually get their emails around 4:45 PST.

@transferkid
Lol I know, I just thought people were curious. On CMC’s website the most recent year was 09 or something.

They said something was missing in my application! They’ll still review it, but the odds of getting accepted as a “late applicant” is, well…not so good. Well @transferkid44, I’ll be seeing you on here for spring admission right?

Congrats to all those accepted!

3.9?! and still rejected?? How many units did you guys have? Sorry to hear that, the acceptance rate was ridiculously low this year. :(

@camathstudent guess its just another day for you, lol.

Not to stomp on any of your plights, but it’s relieving to see so many other qualified candidates turned away.

Enyone else who got rejected know where they’re headed?
