Don’t worry! I bet all my money that you’ll get in! Best of luck mate. I’m very sure that your stats are also outstanding.

Oh okay! Guess I should send them an email for an update on my mailing address, just in case! Thank you!

@Whiteout13- What are your stats?

i remember posting brief stats somewhere on this thread actually. see if its on the first page or the second

Look at RD decision thread for 2012. Somewhat depressing. There is a theme of need based applicants being rejected or wait listed, however these candidates do not state if engineering school was their target. I would suspect that the engineering pool pushes the stats up pretty high although a small school like Trinity likely cannot provide much aid.

I believe that statements refering to the dislike of white preppy culture is in and of itself racist. I support taking the best and brightest regardless of race, religion, gender… Such statements show a lack of respect for indviduals based upon fators that are illegal. By the way the race is caucasian not white. Asians do not like being called yellow. American Indians do not like being called red.

Get with it. It is a new century and a new world.

well im sorry you are so offended drjafieldspot. but i think this should be a place where we should all feel comfortable expressing our feelings/concerns
i think you know what we mean by white preppy culture.

its absolutely fine with me if the college is what i think it is. im going for the academics and im free-minded enough to make friends with anybody.

just a side note “white” is what it is listed as on every form i’ve ever seen. also idk if you know this but some hispanics are identified as white, like those from Puerto Rico and so are middle easterners and north africans. white is no longer a color reference, but is now a term used to describe people from certain areas of the world such as europe, north africa, and the middle east

im sorry if i sound like im angry because as im reading this i see it may come across that way. im not angry

in other news
there is a week from tomorrow left til we all find out.

Hey does anybody know when Trinity College is releasing the decisions?

march 27th

Did anyone receive a letter inviting them to join The Cities Program?

Yes, my son received The Cities Program letter a few days ago. I’m assuming that indicates his acceptance is likely (but not guaranteed).

^^^That’s what was thinking too. Son called and spoke to the Asst. Extremely nice. I’m not counting chickens either…but I have to imagine if they’re inviting a kid to apply to such a selective program where only 20 are accepted - he’s got to have at least a pretty good shot at getting in the school. lol

wow congrats to your son. he’s so lucky!

People who are waiting on decisions can you tell me if your financial aid profile is working ???!! Mine isn’t so i think that means I’m rejected

Mine isn’t either. Same boat? :(

geez trinity is my first choice i really hope i get accepted

@vivaciousakrish didn’t you already get into colgate??

i emailed financial aid about something a couple days ago and the automatic reply said that the FA status website would be down for maintenance for a few days. dont worry

Trinity is also my first choice! I hope I get in, but I won’t.

Got an email from Colby College saying I got rejected for financial purposes (I was asking almost a full-ride to go there) and I’m doing the same with Trinity. Since my stats aren’t perfect then I will get rejected here too :(

People who can afford the price, don’t worry! You guys are in :)

What were your stats? Mine are low, I’m an international plus i can’t afford it so im probably not in for sure :(

I really doubt your stats are lower then mine!

I posted my stats in a RD 2013 thread here so you can check it out if you want! Don’t lose faith Just because I won’t get in doesn’t means you won’t either
