@ Parkerm1 thanks. i’m not in the american system, but my HS GPA is something like 3.8-3.9, College GPA is something like 3.7. SAT was 2070.

@Maomix, I know exactly what you mean. If they tell us a certain timeline, they have to stick to it. Its not fair to us, we have other decisions to make that depend on this one. To be honest, the hope that my decision is coming at the end of the week is whats helping me get through this. It really is any day now.

@RelSparty, I’m going to be so upset if I get rejected after all this waiting. I just have a lot riding on whether or not I get accepted, and it’s nice to be able to know what I’m doing come August. I mean, I need to start looking for an apartment if I stay at my current university and I know there’s a wait at most places to get in. It’s just frustrating.

Also, I’m not sure what got sensored in that last post.

@RJK Here’s a link to the requirements page: [Enrollment Deposit | University of Michigan Office of Admissions](http://www.admissions.umich.edu/drupal/enrollment-deposit)

@maomix I am a sophomore in Math at U of I, HS GPA 89/100, College GPA 3.6. I am hoping I can get some updates from them by Friday. When I applied as a freshman, at least they would tell you where were you. I never got any official notice since I submitted my application. I once thought my application was missing. LOL. The waiting is killing me. I have checked my wolverine hundreds of times today.

Still nothing on my Wolverine Access This wait is tearing me apart.

Today marks the 3 week anniversary of the day the received my mid term report! I should have gotten my decision a week ago according to the reps, but today feels like a lucky day. Good luck to all of us!

I was accepted as a sophomore transfer to LSA with 28 credits.

High School:
- GPA: 3.5
- Track & Field captain (City Champion)
- ACT 28

Community College:
- GPA: 4.0

Just got admitted!

Admitted this morning!
You can find my stats earlier in this thread, at the top of page six. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-michigan-ann-arbor/1406573-fall-2013-transfer-thread-6.html
Good luck to everyone still waiting!

@kanitayaya I had to call to make sure they got everything (I submitted my app on 1/31 and called in March.) That’s the only reason I knew my app was complete. I called again today and the women said they wanted to get decisions out by the end of the week (I don’t believe her though.) Just ugh.

@harzan I’m in the same boat :x

Rejected…ah, whatever. Good luck with everyone else! And congrats to all who were accepted :)

@Harzan, I’m sorry dude You have good stats though, I think it was because you didn’t have very many credits. You still have a ton of time to apply again though, so good luck! Did you find out through WA or email?

Congrats, kanitayaya jay520 and joesilvahhh! I don’t know why I didn’t see these posts before.

I’m sorry @harzan :/

@joesilvahhh, Congrats! Are you planning on attending? I know a few posts back you said you were unsure because it took them so long to get back to you.

@RelSparty Thanks! At this point it seems unlikely. I’ve already started planning out my summer in Kalamazoo, and I only have three weeks or so to cancel everything and restart in Ann Arbor, which sounds like an awful hassle. I could postpone admission for another semester, but the credit loss is brutal… I may be better off if I just stay.

It’s a major bummer, though, because UMich is still where I’d rather go to school. It’s a shame that it took so long for them to respond as it did. Ah well, I’m fairly certain I’ll be applying again for grad school. I’ll live in Ann Arbor one way or another.

@joesilvahhh hope to see you in Ann Arbor someday dude!

Called admissions today, and finally got some information beyond the generic stuff they’ve been telling us. I don’t know how useful it is, but I thought I’d share anyway.
First off, I was told I should expect a decision this week. Decisions aren’t necessarily released right after they’re made, and they are released in bunches. When decisions are released, they are released in the morning. So if you check WA after 3, you probably aren’t getting a decision that day. Decisions are released on weekdays. So if we don’t receive decisions tomorrow morning, its gonna be another grueling week.

But “morning” doesn’t necessarily mean the very first thing in the morning. My son’s decision showed up at 10:45am. I know this because I checked at 10:42am and there was nothing.

Best wishes to you!

@villagemom would you have any idea why it could be taking so long? I feel like I’m qualified, and they received my mid term grades (which were good), so I don’t understand why its still taking so long.

Aw, hon, I don’t understand why it’s taking so long, either. I know they’ve been swamped with applicants but my heart goes out to those who are still waiting. I’ve been following this thread every day and every day I want to bang my head on my desk and say, “Not yet?!”.

Keep your chin up and take pride in your accomplishments so far. You’ve worked hard and should be proud of your grades.

One thing I have seen on this board is that some applicants don’t get in their first time applying… or even their second time. One student who was a legacy was admitted on her third attempt. She just kept working at her studies and grew more and more impressive.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

@RelSparty I’m just to the point in life where it feels like I’ll never get a decision.
