@maomix, nope, but my decision was made Tuesday morning, and its being processed right now. I don’t really know how long the processing portion takes.

Hi bumblebee, I think ‘undeclared’ is just an administrative term. If you’re coming in as a junior transfer like I am, it is illogical to be ‘undeclared’ with all those incoming credits. It’s not like they should be expecting you to re-do all those work.

I suggest speaking to them about this :)

@bumblebee, I concur with what philantropist said. It’s important to get the credits and all in place clearly first before you commit to attending. You certainly do not want to be spending so much (unnecessary) time in college.

And btw, I am a junior transfer as well.

oops double post

Does anyone know if housing is guaranteed for juniors?

Accepted!! This is the beginning of a new era for me, I’m so psyched!

Hi! I’m new to this site. I applied for transfer from MSU to the college of Engineering. My application was complete in early February. I’m getting so nervous! @RelSparty how did you find out your decision was already made?!? Every time I call admissions they don’t get me a straight answer.

@philantropist @millionth thanks guys for the pointers!

reminder: May 1st -> enrollment deposit dateline!

Congratulations, RelSparty! Going to have to change your user name, my friend!

@MSUtransfer, I found out on wolverine access last night at 12:00, the view decision link showed up next to ‘view credentials’. And yeah I know how aggravating that can be, but the deadline is May 1st, so your decision should be coming any minute now!

@VillageMom, thank you so much!! I guess I will have to. I hope to see your son around campus sometime!

@RelSparty Congrats! I’m happy you got in!

@relsparty thanks! yeah, that’s what I’ve been checking. I was just making sure I wasn’t missing something. Let’s hope it comes within a few days then :)

Does anyone know if students transferring from Michigan colleges have higher priority than out-of-state colleges? I’m waiting for a decision from the college of engineering. I know some schools only admit out-of-state students if there is enough room after all the in-state students have been accepted. Is Michigan like this?

@yikes82 I really hope that’s the case! I applied for transfer from MSU to college of Engineering. I’m really freaking out. I just want to know the decision good or bad.

@MSUtransfer I know, waiting is the worst part. I got accepted to Rutgers so at least I have a back up plan, but not knowing where I’m going to spend to next two years of my life is frustrating! I’ve been compulsively checking my email for the past two weeks.

@maomix, thank you! Its been a long wait, and I hope everything goes well with you too, whatever you decide.

To those of you still waiting, hang in there!! give your counselors a call too.

Is there a facebook page for admitted transfer students?

Is anyone else still waiting for the housing application email? If not, were you able to get on campus housing?

I havent received a decision yet. why is it taking them so long? (college of engineering)

@rielt12 I’m waiting on the college of engineering also. I already payed a $150 enrollment fee at my back up school since their enrollment deadline was today. I can’t believe how long this is taking…
