<p>I actually just received my admission notice yesterday. I was admitted as an external transfer into Mays business school.</p>

<p>Table 1 and 2 completed except Art and Accounting 2 (in progress now) and the Management course (not offered at my school)</p>
<p>Straight A’s for Table 1</p>
<p>Phi Theta Kappa: President
Along with two other extracurricular activities</p>
<p>Extracurricular hours total for 2 years: 174
Community service hours total: 21</p>
<p>Work part time: 15 H/W Specialist </p>
<p>Wrote 2 essays: both I considered under par considering I wrote them both in two days</p>
<p>Submitted application a day before deadline.</p>

<p>Moved to step three no longer than a week after I submitted it.
Skipped step 4 all together and went to step 5 yesterday.
In the morning yesterday, Howdy added two new tabs “My Record” and “My Finances”, later on in the afternoon Step 5 appeared in AIS.</p>
<p>Oh, I forgot to add.</p>
<p>I am not an automatic admit.
I did not graduate top 10.
My SAT and ACT were under the requirements.
I did not mention high school achievements at all.
I am also not a part of the Blinn TEAM</p>
<p>Howdy Everyone! I am planning to transfer for the Fall 2013 to Mechanical Engineering. I am in Step 3 in AIS. I have a GPA of 3.92 with 26 credits completed; 40 credits completed after this spring semester. I will have completed Chem 1&2 Calc 1&2 All history, government, English including technical communications. BUT not Physics yet! My plan is to take them at Lone Star College both this Summer, I go there to school. I would be transferring as an international student. I am nervous as everybody else that hasn’t received a response back. I sent a message to the MEEN Dep. but they haven’t responded me back. What do you recommend me to do about telling them I’m taking my physics?? Thanks!!</p>
<p>@JesFerR i think they’ll tell you to mail a copy of your spring grades as soon as they are posted and more likely before June first. So, try calling the Engineering department again to see if there’s something you can do to boost your acceptance chances of better, if the fact that you don’t have physics will affect your decision…</p>
<p>Hey guys, like I said earlier I have been accepted. However does anyone know if they will take away acceptance? I am borderline getting a C and failing in chemistry. I am terrified that they will take away my acceptance. Does anyone know who I can contact about that or what not? Thank you everyone and good luck to those still waiting and spring reviews!</p>

<p>I think a lot of colleges would probably reconsider your acceptance if you get a failing grade, especially if it’s relevant to your major! C’s are okay, but you should definitely try to get your grade back up again. I would definitely ask and see what they say.</p>

It takes around two weeks to get a decision once your application gets into step 3. Good luck to everyone!</p>
