May 13th is fast approaching and I was wondering who else on CC applied!

I applied! good luck to you.

I applied. I was thinking I was the only one! Too bad. :)

I thought so too for a while :)

Good luck to everyone!

Waitlisted! Again…

I got in! Kind of in shock right now…

Waitlisted. Can anybody share some wisdom on what I can do to make my application more appealing?

I’m not necessarily qualified to answer beyond getting accepted (yay!!!), but I think any great school - and Wesleyan especially - is looking for something unique. I think beyond just sending a letter saying “you’re my first choice and I’ll immediately accept if offered…” you should give them some reason to pick you specifically to take off the waitlist. Wesleyan has a lot of people wanting in from the waitlist, and I’m sure all are pretty qualified, so try to give yourself some unique angle or story to stand out.

Got in. Woohoo!

I think @whateverdawg is right, Wesleyan likes interesting kids… although they are also a bit random in their admissions process. I got rejected as a first year and accepted as a transfer. I think your best bet would be to write them a letter and include some of your activities/grades from the semester. good luck!

waitlisted as well

I got in as well, just freaking out a little bit about what my financial aid package is going to look like…

It looks like about 10 - 15 people will probably get off of the waitlist based on last year’s data! Good luck to everyone who stayed on the waitlist! I hope we all can get in! :)

Wes is going to the wait list!!! Yay!!!

Hey lexieam, have you heard when Wesleyan will be notifying waitlisted students?

As early as next week I believe! I’m so excited and incredibly hopeful :)

Thanks for the info. I feel the same way. It has been a pretty long wait and it would be awesome to get that Wesleyan acceptance.

What school are you at now MidEastGuy?

I had an eventful freshman year.I spent my fall semester at Emory University and for my spring semester I am studying at Tel Aviv University. Why do you want Wesleyan
