I heard that all decisions should be made by Friday. Meaning, Friday they will mail out acceptance packets/rejection letters or emails, or you can call them. Good luck everyone!</p>

<p>I got my mail today…
And sadly, I was waitlisted.
And I have to wait until May/July for a final answer.
I was accepted to Rutgers and I have to make a decision by May so I don’t know what to do… If I decline Rutgers but I don’t get into FIT, then I’m screwed… I thought I would get in… This is an outcome I never thought about…</p>

<p>I was waitlisted. FIT wasn’t my first choice anyway and I’m not going to email them to remain on the waitlist. I want to give someone who really wants to go a bigger chance.</p>
<p>I want this school more than anything and I havent gotten any mail from the school yet. I am terrified!!! </p>

<p>@ Everyone who was waitlisted, the outcome may not be as bad as you think you may still have a chance. </p>

<p>ebs1995, I’ve been reading this thread for awhile and your posts, and am so sorry to hear that you are waitlisted. We’re from New Jersey, as well, and my daughter received her letter today, also on the waitlist for the FMM program. My daughter has a very similar GPA as you and a ton of fashion ECs, including an intern last summer with a prestigious apparel company in their showroom.
My daughter’s No. 1 school was not FIT and she decided a few weeks ago to enroll in her No. 1 choice. She will not elect to put her name on the waitlist. There are many universities with excellent fashion programs out there that have different strengths and provide for different experiences. Please keep on working hard and you will find the right school/program for you. </p>

<p>@TransferAppFIT I guess it is. I didn’t hear anything either. It seemed like they sent the mail out on monday and tuesday only during this week and mine was under review on tuesday…so… </p>
<p>So many things are coming cross my head but I don’t know what to say now. :(</p>
<p>@Rollieee I’m still waiting to hear back too but being someone who was rejected two years ago I honestly would be happy with the option of being wait-listed least know I was close to being accepted. I’ll just apply again for Spring though.</p>
