Has any one who got waitlisted heared anything back from the school!? Do we uust have to wait untill they send the final decisions on us?

@bini0625 I was wait listed as well and yes that’s basically the idea. It sucks but I’m waiting it out and hoping for the best. I know FIT is the only school for me. Good luck what major are you wait listed for? Are you sending them anything extra?

@bini0625 I forgot to add that tuition deposits aren’t due until May 1st. I’m sure most people who are committing to FIT have already send theirs back but I’m sure there’s a few people who won’t reply until closer to May 1st which sucks for us because it delays the school from accepting people from the wait list.

@todayisnow i’m still waiting as well. But when i called them, they said it was sent on the 31st… i dont know why i havent received it yet…someone from instagramsaid it was delivered with DHL …im afraid they re taking more time bc rejection letters arent sent with DHL

@limjuliana I think they are taking their time, but not in a bad way. For me, I’m a transfer student with a BA and MPA so I think its the classification of courses and what they will accept me as. I did apply for the 1-year program. My portfolio was viewed on the 12th of Feb and if I didn’t met their standards of acceptance on the portfolio I would of received a rejection letter a long time ago. Are you a transfer student as well?

I was wait-listed (FALL 2014, FULLTIME) but does that mean I have a bad chance of getting into the classes I want to be in? We do have to sign up classes ourselves right? Thanks:) and good luck to everyone!

@todayisnow no, i’m an incoming freshmen. My portfolio was reviewed in December so this whole thing is not making any sense. At least I know my decision was already mailed…

@yejikiim what major?

@ebs1995 FMM! You?

@yejikiim Same, FMM Did you put your name on the list?

@yejikiim you shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding classes a lot if classes are blocked off only for daytime students. The only trouble you may run into is finding a related area course if you on,y wanted a specific time because they registration requirements may only have 2 classes available for your major. You can go into your myfit > register for classes > view all available courses and from there look at times and requirements to register for each class. I discussed it in greater detail a few pages back.

@ebs1995 hey so sorry for the late reply! But i put my name down on waitlist for FMM. I sent out my updated transcript late last month. Do you know if we’re gonna get notify if the school have recieved the transcripts or not?

@limjuliana oh ok. keep us posted on your decision! I’m cheering for you and everyone like me that’s still waiting!!!

@bini0625 No, you’re gonna have to call to check to make sure

Hello everyone, I’ve been reading all the posts and a bit sad that I didn’t get an email in regards to the accepted students event.
Also I saw a few posts stating that there is a clue in Financial Awards, please let me know if it looks like the link:

I got my acceptance letter!!! Yess! NYC here I come!!
@limjuliana did you receive yours yet?

Hi everyone! I’m from Colombia and I still don’t know if I got into FIT or not… Waiting is killing me!! I applied to the photography program, Does anyone was accepted for this program? Any student is south america with the same situation? Thanks!

@todayisnow CONGRATZ ! not yet I think there was a problem with the address or something, because they sent it more than 20 days ago and I didn’t get it ! can you still access the “application status” on MYFIT? I`m not

@FITPH1204 Hi there! I’m from the US and I applied for photography as well. I found out that I was waitlisted about a month ago Were you waitlisted or have you just not received any sort of decision letter yet?
