@thercbray – Wow! Another clear window into an applicant’s heart, life, and desires. Great job with your brave and honest essay. If it was up to me, you’d be in!

I’m so nervous guys. I want that big envelope so bad

You’ll get that big enevelope any day now – don’t worry.

@rockvt I just hope it’s not a small envelope. Everyone knows what that means…

@rockvt thank you so much! don’t discount the small envelope, I read that some people got a small envelope only to find out it said they were accepted early and details would follow shortly thereafter.

I wish that there was some consistency with what everyone is saying and with what the official admissions website says. It says April 1 and nothing sooner. I wish notification was not so late… Really hard when this is your number 1 choice and your backup plan didn’t pan out…

What lovely work, I loved your essay @pheobebuffay! Since you are a transfer student, I don’t think high school mentions in your essay matter. I would believe your past two years would be relevant, not anything prior to that. Your work and inspiration helps a lot. I know of someone who was accepted to FMM last year and wrote about how her grandmother inspired her to go into the industry. :)

thank you @artsyfartsy96 !! the positive feedback means a lot… im sure we’re all anxious to get our letters so it’s nice to have a little group of applicants supporting each other :)

@phoebebuffay well I actually applied for Advertising/marketing communications (maybe I should’ve mentioned that lol), but I do enjoy how you made known your strengths. I wish we were aware of your aunt’s name, because when you said Penny, I was slightly confused. But the essay shows your maturity growth & self assurance, which is always nice! I think if your grades match up to FIT’s transfer student applicant standards, then you should be okay. Good Luck though!

I want the big envelope so badly… FIT is definitely my 1st choice ! I heard that FIT only provide very few space for international students… i am so anxious

Someone I know just got accepted today and her last name begins with A so I believe they’ll be mailing everything in alphabetical order (and yes it was a big envelope)

Yeah I see more people getting accepted

My D was accepted today via regular mail. Fat packet that says Congrats on the outside. No guessing what the outcome is with that on the envelope! She is majoring in Photography and our last name begins with E so not so sure that they are mailing out alphabetically. She applied in January. FYI…we went on another admissions tour 2 weeks ago and the admissions counselor said that they were already making decisions and expected the packets to go out much earlier than April 1st. Seems she was indeed correct! Good luck to everyone!!!

Yes they seem to be going out earlier than last year. I wonder if they’re sending them out in increments in terms of last name or all at once. I’m at the end of the alphabet :(

@dionna thank you for clarification. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

maybe theyre mailing out by major? i havent seen any FMM majors posting about getting accepted except for the freshmen with advanced standing

i’m dying right now. i need to know!!

@phoebebuffay I seen one person accepted to FMM on Instagram don’t worry you will get your acceptance letter :D

Hi everyone! Good news! I received my acceptance today! One of the best moments of my life. My last name begins with E; so not sure if it’s alphabetical. Good luck to everyone!

@Streisafied Congrats!

@phoebebuffay My friend got accepted for FMM and her app didn’t say freshman advanced standing so you never know
