@cahawe like @data1530 said, CPP. Also because they’re more on the learn by doing philosophy so you’re more prepared for the workforce. This is what makes cal poly’s different than the rest of the CSU’s. And compare it to UC, less research oriented.

Just got accepted!
PSYCH Major! (:

Nice! Still no update on mine though.

@civilengineer1 when did u get accepted and what was sat /act?

@civilengineer1 -Congratulations! Are u a transfer student? Or freshman?

im transfer

Was accepted yesterday to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona for the Civil Engineering Program. I have a 3.6 GPA with around 90 semester units, calculus completed, chem completed, as well as an engineering graphics certificate. Have not attempted physics but it looks like I will be doing so at

@civilengineer1 Thanks and Congrats again!

@NINfreak18 Congratulations to you too!

I see a couple of CE majors accepted here and on the transfer thread. Are you both going to choose to transfer to CPP or have you had any other offers? My son has been accepted to SDSU and CSULB and is waiting on a couple more schools. I’m not too sure about CE at those schools. Any thoughts on them while we’re waiting on CPP decision. He’s a FTF btw. Thanks for any input and Congrats to you both again!

looks like a lot of transfer students were already accepted… why aren’t they releasing any decisions for freshman? I haven’t seen any computer science majors getting accepted yet…

GPA: 3.97
SAT 2000
8 Aps by Grad
Computer Science Major
Got accepted to UCSC, UCR, SJSU, UCSB, waitlisted Davis,
Rejected: Cal poly SLO, Irvine

Really waiting on CPP… if CPP accepts me… I’ll probably end up going there!

@prolixfelix With your stats, I’m sure that you’ll get accepted to CPP. I had around the same stats as you, except I am a civil engineering major. CPP is also my number one choice (decided to choose it over SLO for a few reasons). But wishing you the best of luck!

@coastercrutch I honestly don’t even know anymore… admissions are really weird throughout this year :’(
were you accepted yet? My application still says incomplete. I kind of want to commit to a college soon…
Both Cal Polys are awesome! So I don’t think you’d go wrong for choosing one over the other Good Luck to you too coastercrutch!

I’m a transfer student, and I got into the civil engineering program with a 3.61 gpa. Will have the calculus series completed with all A’s, gen chem, differential equations, and General ed classes completed. All I have left is the physics stuff, but I’ll just take that at cal poly. HS students should get acceptances soon though, so keep checking bronco direct! Good luck, and congrats to everyone who got in :).

@coastercrutch and @prolixfelix you both will most likely get in lol. Your stats are freaking good. The only thing that may prevent you guys from getting in is if the transfer students have priority over you and the spots fill up. Which I doubt honestly. Good luck guys, I hope you both get in though.

This is literally my last hope as I’m pretty much rejected from everywhere else.
When are they going to send these out?
I can’t wait until the end of April.

Has anyone got rejected yet?

@popsuker What’s your stats?

Sorry random question In your guys opinion in respect to Engineering what is your ranking for the csu schools? Thnx :)

@xxcapital
3.4 GPA, 2110 SAT

So I am REALLY confused. My application status on BroncoDirect still says incomplete because I have to take the ELM, does that mean they won’t tell me their decision unless I take it or do I have to wait still? I’m not even sure when decisions end? HELP PLEASE. :((
