Your posts are encouraging. My D is still waiting for a decision…biology major.

@onesupportivemom Tell your daughter that good things will come to all those that wait patiently. That’s what my son and I are holding onto (but this wait getting to be a bit grueling from CPP). I wish the best for your daughter. Keep us posted if you get any good news.

@clu2014 We’re in the same boat as you. We’re gonna hold out a bit longer in hopes to hear from CPP before deciding on committing to another school for admissions and housing. Hopefully not waiting too much longer.

@cawahe Anything can happen. Just because you didn’t get into UCM doesn’t mean it won’t happen for you at CPP. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. What’s your major?

Do any Fall 2014 freshman admits have a financial aid package ready to view?

I got admitted into Kinesiology: Exercise Science emphasis this week. My stats are as follows:
Transfer student
GPA: 3.46
Completed the golden 4 and additional major requirements.

Don’t lose hope, guys! Getting into impacted majors isn’t impossible as long as we have the prereqs done. My boyfriend also got admitted in the Computer Science program and his GPA was only 2.85, although he did finish all the transfer requirements for his major.

Good luck to everyone!

@kabnbb Computer Science, but i want CE. I applied CS because i thought it would be easier to get into.

Let us all cry together while we wait to get chosen.

Anybody else still pending?

@bjt223 Yep! I applied as business admin, what about you?

@justinmega1- are you a transfer or freshman? Most business admin majors got accepted on the 24/25 of March.

@2vivie I am a freshman in state. Were those people transfers?

@justinmega1- I’m a freshman also, with a business admin major and got accepted on those 2 dates. My friend who applied as a business admin with int emphasis got accepted to that date as well. I assumed that was when they notified business admin majors. I also got curious and checked the instagram tag and during those two dates several different majors also got accepted. Taken consider my average stats, I was accepted kind of late. I also saw some business admin majors getting accepted way earlier around December-January, but they had over 3.5 average stats.

We are still waiting for CPP also, admin office says that we should hear something by mid-April. My son’s major is architecture, which happens to be an impacted one, so idk. If we could hear back from CPP this week, that would be so awesome. Waiting sucks. :-(

Just out of curiosity whats better for CS SJSU or SDSU

Ok I have a question about SDSU, is anyone else a Business major? I checked out the campus today and I’ve been so stoked on going there, but the Business Administration building is crappy as hell and is super small. Is that the only location business majors have classes? It totally turned me off from going to the school at all

I’m comparing it to cal poly pomona’s new college of business and im super disappointed about sdsu’s.

@kaislinn91 I do know that SDSU’s business is not that great, and even though business is not really an imapcted major at Pomona(except for communications), it is pretty much getting there possibly by next year too. If you’re hearts really with SDSU, then go for it, but if you’re more concerned about your major…

@justinmega1 well CPP has been the school Ive wanted to go to for a few years, so i’m pulled. leaning more toward cpp now just because sdsu’s business admin building is ugly lol.

Does any know which CSU is better to attend for Psychology? I’m torn between CSUF and CPP. Thanks!

@LAchick21- there really isn’t a better csu from the listed you mentioned about psychology. They are both considered impacted, then again I gave up my Business major opportunity at CSUF to study business here in cal poly. Sometimes there are other factors that play a good role in determining where you want to go.
Here is a link of impacted majors, just in case you are interested: http://www.calstate.edu/sas/documents/impactedprogramsmatrix.pdf

April is here time to look if these deposits are refundable or not :(

@2vivie @LAchick21 You should also look into CSULB because my brother, who attends that school, says it is a really good program there. Does anyone know just how good Pomona’s business program is?
