Congratulations @coastercrutch! You deserved it!

I wonder if my admission decision will be different because I got rejected to Cal Poly once…

Coaster crunch, did your app say “incomplete” prior to your acceptance? Mine says “incomplete” due to final transcript not received yet but it isn’t die until July 15th. It also says I have to satisfy the ELM requirement or something like that but that isn’t due until May. Why the heck does it say my app is incomplete?

Thanks xxcapital!

^ And yes, mine said incomplete before (and actually it still does) due to the transcript thing.

"Thanks xxcapital!

^ And yes, mine said incomplete before (and actually it still does) due to the transcript thing."

If it still says “Incomplete” did they email you that you were accepted?

My application status says incomplete and says i need to turn in my final high school transcript by 7/15/2014. Can anyone clarify me on what this actually means? How did those who got accepted know they got accepted?

Here is a possible solution to the status problem. I copied this off a previous post from an old thread.

“incomplete: High school transcript due 7/15/2010” status. I called admissions yesterday, and the guy there said that’s because we applied to an impacted major; the transcript thing is there so that if we are accepted, we know to turn it in."

Check your application status in the Bronco Direct Student Center. It will have a green check mark for admitted and then go into Application Status and it should say Provisional Admit.
Son did not receive an email just checked his Bronco Direct account.

Does anyone know if admissions looks down on transfer applicants changing their planned schedule? When I applied in November I stated that I’d register for three classes in the spring but unfortunately I’ve only been able to register for two of them. I’m on a wait list for the last class but I’m running out of time to send my transcripts and I know I’ll have to email them about the slight change. If I do happen to get the class do I simply just email them again and say that I did get the class afterall? I know it might sound stupid but I want to know if it can possibly hurt my chances in the end.

@user15 What transcripts? They didn’t ask for a preliminary transcript, did they?

I called them about the issue a couple of months ago and they said to just e-mail them with the changes and they will “keep note of that” when evaluating your application. When you get in, do e-mail them about that. It’s better to let them know what’s going on. Hopefully it’s not your golden 4 or anything.

edit: I’m asking because people are giving mixed comments about transcripts and idk if I’m supposed to send them o.

@xxcapital Yes technically it is. They want to see how I did during the fall and if I’m taking the classes I said I would for spring. Luckily it’s not part of the golden 4 so i’m in the clear for that. I believe they ask for two sets of transcripts for people in impacted majors (one after fall and one after your spring term) since the admittance will be provisional…at least that’s what I’ve heard from my college counselor.

Got in today, provisional admit.

Major: Biz Ad
CSU GPA: 4.32
SAT: 1300 (M:620. CR:680)
8 AP classes.

Still confused about the whole transcript thing, it’s not due until we SIR correct? I have friends who have applied to other CSU’s worrying about transcripts and when they’re needed.

Congratulations on the provisional admit!!

I had a friend to to the admissions desk at cal poly and asked about the transcripts. They specifically said don’t send them in unless it’s in your to do list. Also, they’re giving notifications on a rolling basis.

We all know about the rolling basis thing so I guess time is our game right now.

Any animal science majors get accepted yet?
