I’m a transfer student in the local area 3.76 GPA will have 60+ credits completed and an A.S. this Spring (2014) from Mt. SAC. My application just says application received and complete. I have yet to hear if I got in and the suspense is killing me!! Anyone applied to CPP’s Liberal Studies program and heard back yet!?

i applied last year and unfortunately did not get in either but yeah they are the last CSU’s to notify transfer students for acceptance and sometimes even past the deadline for enrollment deposits…sadly their admissions process is one of the slowest

@cmguevara Do you know what happens to the students who receive an acceptance past the deadline for enrollment deposits?

they give you a window of a few weeks to accept and make your deposit.

@NCalRent Thanks for answering.

No answer from Slo and with two days left I am shifting my hopes towards cpp now. When can we expect to have the next wave of acceptances?

I applied for an impacted major (chemical engineering), and I haven’t heard from them yet. Is it necessary for me to turn in all the items of my application to receive the result? I still have to submit items like my transcript spring grade (not possible right now, for obvious reason), and affidavit of financial support, which I am preparing.

Is it normal to still not receive the result, or should I contact them?

@seppy93
I applied ChemE as well and no word yet.

It would be just plain horrible if they wait to the last minute to finish admitting people. Especially the people who applied to an impacted major. We have deadlines for other colleges as well and risking losing admission to another school just to wait on a decision from CPP would be risky.

Same Chem Engr. status: Incomplete

My daughter is still waiting on Kinesiology. She was accepted to SDSU though, and after a tour on Friday she is almost ready to give up on CPP and accept to SDSU. I told her to hold out for at least a week longer, because I don’t want her to be accepted to CPP and regret her decision.

Accepted to Economics in January
stats:
3.6 UC/CSU gpa

I got the invite to the honors college, but I didn’t apply, regretting that now, as I got rejected from SLO, also waiting on UCD,UCSB,UCSD,UCLA and UCB. Probably will get rejected from all UC’s. I’m not sure how i feel about Pomona, but it may be my only option other than CC :3

Application still incomplete. And so a little part of me continues to slowly die.

I am still waiting on a decision from Cal Poly Pomona! My status has been “incomplete” for awhile now. I applied to an impacted major and was told the latest I could hear from them is by the end of April. =/

I applied as Mech Engineering as a transfer. I have completed IGETC along with all but one of my supplemental program courses and still says “referred to impacted plan.” Anyone else in the same boat? I’ve heard back from both CPSLO and SDSU (sadly didn’t get in either with a 3.6 GPA) but CPP is taking longer.

Geography major transfer student accepted as of feb 4th. 3.39GPA. Orientation and ECD paid for. To do list cleared. only hold on my account is attending orientation. Waiting on my boyfriend’s admission decsion… 2.7 GPA also geography major still just says application received. grrrrr
