Fall 2014 Transfer Chances?

<p>Hey, Buckeyes. I am currently a freshman at West Virginia University and am hoping to transfer to Ohio State for the Fall 2014 term. </p>

<p>College GPA: 4.0 (Only one semester; hope to do the same this coming semester)
Current Major: Direct Admit Journalism (Print)
High School GPA: 3.1
ACT: 27
6 AP Credit hours</p>

<p>I went to high school in Columbus and am currently a resident there. Because I do not have 29 credit hours completed, I will have to include my high school transcript as well as my standardized test scores along with my college transcript. I’m somewhat skeptical that I’ll be admitted - any feedback will be appreciated.</p>

<p>Literally almost the same stats except I’m from California looking to transfer. Would love to know my chances.</p>

<p>I’m transferring, as well, from Indiana University.
I was accepted to Ohio State and their honors program last year but chose not to attend.
With your college GPA, I would say you have a strong chance of getting in. Being in state is also helpful. I’m from Columbus too :slight_smile: Let me know if you are in need of a roommate if you are accepted. Best of luck!</p>

<p>I’m applying at the end of the deadline, and it’s my first year in college. I talked to one of the people in the admissions office and from doing so you’re able to apply with 30+ credits so your decision will be based off your college performance. </p>

<p>But right now here is what I got:</p>

<p>CC in Illinois
College GPA: 4.0 16 credits, and another 16 for the spring semester
2 jobs: one as a laborer and another as a Brand Ambassador
Clubs: Access and Disability Services club. Received an invite to the Honors Program.</p>

<p>HS: College Prep school in IL
HS GPA: 3.0
ACT: 24
Sports: Played Lacrosse 1 year frosh, Wrestling 1 year Varsity, 4 years in Football and I was the captain of my team Senior yr.
Volunteer work: Completed 120 hours of volunteer work.
No honors courses or academic awards.</p>

<p>How can I check if all my credits transfer? I used some of the site provided on the admissions page and my CC was not listed. </p>

<p>And does anyone know how difficult it is to transfer to OSU as a 1st year student?</p>
