@want2engr same, :/

Can we change our major at this moment??

Just a note, you can change your major as of now but from experience I learned it is a VERY delayed process. Everyone will more than likely have their decisions and you will still be waiting. The wait is excruciating and you’d probably wish you didn’t change your major so late. But hey, that’s just my experience.

Has anyone been accepted to McCombs yet?

@baylorgal123I didn’t choose any second major choice so I just want to add one. Can you tell me where to do so? I couldn’t find it so I thought we couldn’t change it. (And I actually don’t mind waiting) Thank you for informing me : )

Oh okay I think you should be okay then! And underneath where it says your first choice major, there’s an option to change major. Click that and it will take you to two drop down menus: one for your first major and one for your second major. Just go ahead and select a second major! You’re welcome btw!

Thank you for helping! But I really didn’t see it. The only place I can find that states my major is underneath my status which says complete. And when I click my major, it just direct me to the official Moody College page Thank you for helping!

anyone from College of Edu get any response?

@48hiv2 ugh are you serious? There’s no button that says change majors?
And
@UTfanatic1234 I am waiting on COE as well

Little late to change majors ya??

Still waiting on CNS Math. sigh

@baylorgal123 No, couldn’t find any…maybe it’s just too late

Still on review… :!! @-) X( ~X(

@baylorgal123 Did you change yours? When did you apply? I just changed mine today…

@lovechickfila I applied for the spring 2014 last year and went through the process of changing majors while other ppl were still getting their acceptances. Also, the admissions counselor did tell me, that because i switched majors so late, the major was already full of accepted ppl so I was rejected from that major immediately. And the other major I selected which was biology, I didn’t complete the calc credit and they had already given out the priority acceptances to others who had completed the calculus. so i was denied admission. but the case may be different for you.

@baylorgal123 Ahh now I’m more scared… I changed it from Public Health to Nutrition because I didn’t have the science or math credit for Public Health. However Nutrition only requires the math credit. I figured it’s better to be short the math credit and get in (if I’m lucky) after the priority acceptances are given, instead of not having all of Public Health’s required credits.

How long did it take for you to get a decision while everyone was getting accepted? Were you rejected from the school immediately? What was your second choice major?

Sorry I have so many questions :(

Edit: Sorry, so you changed your major, and you were not accepted into the major you changed, and biology was the major you had before you changed and you didn’t get accepted to that either?

My second choice is COLA undeclared. I changed my major from Government to undeclared…but do you think my chance is better since I stayed within the same colleges?

@lovechickfila I think you will be okay! And I got my decision a day before Christmas break which was like December 16 or something. And yes ma’am I was according to her! I was Exercise Science in COE and Biology in CNS. COE is a very small school so I can understand why it filled up fairly quickly. CNS is rather large, allowing more ranges of GPA’s. I think you’ll be fine!

Thank you! I’m so nervous right now so thanks for answering all my questions @baylorgal123

a friend with a decent GPA has been rejected for Chem E I’m worried now.

Anyone here apply for nursing major?
