My son was accepted on January 24th. Computer Engineering, 3.3 GPA, 33 ACT.

He had 5 years of math (7th grade Algebra, 8th grade Geometry), 4 years of lab science, engineering academy curriculum and 3 years of Spanish (which really brought his gpa down).

I just checked mine today, and it says “Eligible for Consideration,” and “Final Transcript Spring Grades” on the to do list. Does anyone know what actually are my chances getting considered?

Geography major transfer student accepted as of feb 4th. 3.39GPA. Orientation and ECD paid for. To do list cleared. only hold on my account is attending orientation. Waiting on my boyfriend’s admission decsion… 2.7 GPA also geography major still just says application received. grrrrr

I really need to figure out where I’m going to transfer so I can figure out my housing situation. The lease is almost up on my apt and I’m going to be forced to pay the outrageous month-to-month price because it’s taking forever to figure out whether or not I got into CPP!

They asked for my transcript back in early Feb. I’ve been “referred to impacted plan” ever since. I’m not sure if that means I’m in good standing, or if I’m at the bottom of the barrel for consideration.

My status also says “referred to impacted plan.” I called today and was told that means you made the first cut for your impacted major. I was also told CPP is expecting to release another wave of admissions in a week.

@puapua last year I applied and I was referred to impacted plan as we’ll and i ended up going to the admissions office in person and they told me it meant I was wait listed

Well alright! Glad to hear I made the first cut. I’ve been denied from SDSU and SLO so im really hoping Pomona accepts me. What’s your guys’ GPA?

Hi guys! So I am pretty much a veteran at trying to apply to CPP. This is my third year in a row applying. I applied twice out of a CC and now im applying to transfer from Cal Poly SLO. CPP didn’t deny me last year until MAY!!! Their admissions process is awful! And not to mention that last year I got accepted to UC Davis, Cal Poly SLO, Fresno, and Chico. CPP was the ONLY school that denied me. Anyway I urge you all to commit to other schools by the end of this month! Do not count on CPP. I commited to SLO and im glad I did. Good luck and contact me if you have ANY questions about this process because I have been through it all. Even appealing the decision. Good luck!

Anybody hear back for Animal Health Science?
I went to the open house and the instructor said they finished their freshmen acceptances and were about to get started on the transfers. 3.45 GPA

@jennesc Good Luck! Hope to see you next fall. I was accepted in agribus. I went to the open house too. Loved it! Good luck to everyone else too.

CPP is a joke. I can’t believe how long they’re taking this year. It was my dream school for 4 years. I applied the very first day I could, and it’s mid March almost and still only says “application received.” My ex got his acceptance on March 1st last year as a transfer, same major and same GPA as I have now. I wanted to go there so badly and when we first met he wanted to go to SDSU. Ironically, he goes to CPP now and I ended our relationship the day before I got my acceptance to SDSU last week. Funny how things turn out… now I’m so happy to go to SDSU. Pomona looks like a very boring school compared to SD. So for those of you who aren’t accepted/haven’t heard yet, don’t worry, life works in mysterious ways.

You come here for the education first…it’s not a playground for four years. Especially in anything STEM, you’re going to work your butt off.

You posted in a previous thread. Obviously, business is easy to get into, but maybe they raised their standards this year and a crap load of people apply as business.

Congratulations on your acceptance to SDSU.

Anyone think they can help me out here?! My application says its in incomplete because I have to the TOEFL(Test of English as Foreign Language)! I did high school in the middle east and came back here for college ( 2yrs) and I guess minimum it has to be three years but I thought they dont look at high school information once u apply as a transfer and even if thats not the case the primary language was English in my high school, it was an American system just like her in the U.S. Ive been trying to contact them and tell them because I think that is why I am not getting my acceptance/rejection but it never goes through and I live too far to drive! HELP anyone?
