I got my acceptance on 2/10. Liberal studies major.

I applied as a Biotechnology major (3.42 GPA from SCC) and my status says “Referred to impacted plan.” Some people are saying that it means that I am on the wait list and others are saying that I made it through the first wave of applicants. What does it really mean? And my application still says “Incomplete” because it is asking for my Final Spring Transcript. Does that mean I won’t know whether or not I’m admitted until I turn in my spring transcript?

@LOLjade You’re in about the same boat as everyone else. I applied as Mechanical Engineering and I’ve heard the exact same thing about my “referred to impacted plan” status. However, my application says it is complete (I sent in my transcripts from my two CCs)

From what I’ve seen in years past, “referred to impacted plan” generally indicates that you are on the waitlist. If you get that update at this point, chances are that you are very slim that you will be accepted off the waitlist. It is probably in your best interest to look at other opportunities.

Wish we could find out sooner. I could drop 2 classes I’m currently taking if I were to attend my backup school. I’d love to pick up those hours at work to get a head start on my soon-to-increase tuition…

aerospace engineering major. my status went to “referred to impacted plan” as well. i called the admissions office but they are saying it doesn’t mean its on wait list. I guess better to wait and see. ill let you know if it gets updated.

@tehjoadsta what do you mean “if we get that update”? Our application going from complete to referred to impacted plan? Because my application status has said that for about 3 weeks.

Well mine has had the “referred to impacted plan” since early February…

Mine switched to that shortly after they received my transcripts; I believe early-mid Feb.

Same for me @PuaPua @Loljade

I’m just sick of waiting.

Also, have you guys heard of the supplemental application?

Mine change a week ago from application received to referred to impacted major.

I’m sick of waiting too. Does anyone know when the last day they will notify students? Do they send email or do they send it through mail?

The last day can vary… There were a couple of years when people didn’t hear until July so yeah ___. Hopefully CPP has gotten its @#!( together since then

Ffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuu hope that doesnt happen. Really don’t want to be waiting until July.

If they ask for your spring final transcript 2014, does that mean that I won’t know my admission status until June? because my application still says incomplete

July? That’s ridiculous. That would force me to give up my acceptance to other schools in the ~hopes~ that Pomona accepts me.

this wait is killing me…

I went to the Admissions Office today to turn in some papers and I heard the receptionist saying that if you don’t get accepted by April 15 then you better start looking at your back-up schools.
I’m in the same boat as some of you, “Referred to Impacted Plan.” :/
