<p>Shiksha- depends on your major. Buffalo is known for it’s engineering and health science programs. Binghamton for it’s business program (and nursing is good too though so is UB’s. )</p>

<p>My son received his acceptance letter today, as well as a Provost scholarship for $20,000. Just waiting on the Honors College acceptance. He applied to quite a few schools, so it will depend on what happens with the rest of the colleges before a decision is made.</p>
<p>My daughter was accepted with Provost ($20K) as well. I just assumed she didn’t get in the Honors College since it was not mentioned in the acceptance letter.</p>
<p>I haven’t heard anything yet, wish there was a way to check the status. For those accepted, did UB send just an acceptance letter or was it like a packet with lots of info in it? </p>
<p>Large sized envelope arrived in mailbox on Monday. Included acceptance letter and some addl info. </p>

<p>i can tell you one thing…this university really cares about you…
I’m an int’l student but still got the acceptance letter and brochure through mail( one of the very few unis that does that)
Also a student ambassador at UB gave me a call sharing her experience and all…</p>
<p>No other university does that…none that I know of. UB is awesome.</p>

<p>I received my envelope today, I have been accepted into the EOP program so full admission depends upon completion of the 3 week summer program. I received an accepted students day insert and a booklet of info. so I’m in, right? anyone else get into the EOP?</p>

<p>I received my acceptance package yesterday afternoon, along with a 30k Provost Award. Does anyone know if/when they release decisions regarding the Honors College?</p>
<p>The Honors College envelopes were mailed on March 5. My son received his acceptance into the Honors College yesterday. @anndean since you received a $30,000 Provost Award, Im sure you will be accepted into the Honors College since that is a high merit scholarship.
