I got in! I just got the phone call and I’ll be getting the e-mail around 5pm with the Fedex package coming next week. I’m so excited!!! It’s my dream school and I can’t wait for fall now! I’ll be majoring in Women’s & Gender Studies and English.
Congrats to everyone else that got in and good luck to those still waiting!
@TedNicholas Yes, that’s my plan! I want to open my own (rehabilitation) studio and form business relationships with the hospitals/clinics in the area so that they can recommend their patients to my studio. I truly believe it is a type of business that is yet to be “exploited”–the actual merging of REAL physical therapy with Pilates & yoga. So I hope to one day succeed in that profession by offering a very unique take
they did which was weird, but i did get emailed and i checked and i wasn’t accepted. I’m assuming because i hadn’t actually had a gap year ~ because stats wise I was fairly competitive.
hello i have already sent documents to the university but it is still written "not yet received/processed. I have a strange situation because I applied first to CC but since I had more than 1 year of break they adviced me to forward all my documents to GS. And it is what I did. Do you guys think I just have to wait?
thank you
@671242491 I finally heard back from GS today !! I got an email at 4:30 pm requesting me to send my spring 2015 grades to GS in order to receive a final decision. I have finals next week and look to send them within a week after that. Was anyone else asked to submit spring semester grades ?
@TedNicholas That’s great man - that means you’re still in the run! I’m assuming if your GPA is good this semester, which I’m sure it is, then they’re going to accept you! Congrats!
I haven’t received any e-mails whatsoever. I have 90 credits under my belt and I’m not currently attending a university. Either I’ve already been rejected, or they’re still evaluating my grades since all my credits are from an international institution.
I am in guys. I got an e-mail 3days ago. But I haven’t got any call from them yet. I am community college student. serving two years of military service. 4.0 gpa with 65 credits (semester). Also, I got a perfect recommendations and wrote perfect essay ( I guess). I am not sure if I have to submit spring grade or not.
I was also asked to submit my spring grades, although this semester has been troubling, I got into a car accident and had to take an F for a class, although I aced all my other, much harder classes. Kinda worried, although all my other grades at A’s except for one B.
I am in the same boat. I was asked to submit spring grades. Admissions committee called me yesterday and had me describe my current courses and the grades I have now and what my anticipated final grades will be. They said “you will hear from us soon”
Hopefully this is good news!! The wait has been killing me
Interesting, I still haven’t been contacted for anything. I’m not currently in college, so clearly I wouldn’t have any grades to submit to them anyway. I’m just wondering why the long wait - perhaps I’ve been waitlisted?
Hey guys! Got another call and email from Columbia admissions. They’re saying they have an “Admitted Student’s Day” event here in California (which is where I am at currently) in July 11th and I’m invited, however, I may actually be moving to New York by then! For the people who’ve been admitted, are any of you guys in the east coast and have received a call/invitation to this event? If so, where is the east coast event located?
Thanks in advanced everyone! And good luck to those still waiting! Stay positive
