<p>Hi! I was wondering if anybody knows when the application for those applying to University of Washington for the Fall 2015 school year will open. I've tried looking on the website but haven't seen anything about Fall 2015 yet. </p>
<p>The notification period for each quarter is always the same timeframes given on the site below, depending on whether you are international, transfer, or a freshman, regardless of the year.</p>
<p>I’m sure this is the one you were looking at; there are no years associated with the given notification periods. You should expect notice of their decision June-July of 2015!</p>

<p>Or March if you are a Freshman. Sorry for forgetting that, you didn’t say what your application type was!</p>
<p>Also if you want to qualify for the Husky Promise, your FAFSA has to be submitted before Feb 28 of next year. In terms of admission decisons, freshman applicants will hear back during the second half of March while fall transfers won’t hear back until June/July with a luck few in May. (I got mine on June 10 and the letter on the 13th

<p>Also congrats @potatomawnster on getting admitted to Washington! If it’s not too nosy, could I ask what hrought you to want to go to Washington? As an out-of-state applicant, my parents don’t understand why I would want to travel across the country for school. </p>
<p>@tempa4j It depends on where you’re from and what your intended major is. As an in-state transfer majoring in a STEM field, the UW has great internships and job opportunities because it is in Seattle. There are companies such as Boeing, Microsoft, and Nintendo that are nearby. Also, IMO, the UW is one of the better schools within a 600 mile radius.</p>
