I looked into why the status will stay incomplete, when i registered for the orientation it said that the status will register as complete once we attend and complete the orientation program where we register for our courses. so until then (july for me). Im not an expert on this lol but, the next thing they will ask us for besides the ECD and orientation registration is our official transcripts for spring (grades) which they will require we send in at the end of our final semester to confirm our self reported grades are actually what we say they are. @autumnsunshine
If anyone knows anything else or if im wrong please let me know, because i’ve been looking into this very thoroughly as i want CPP to have everything they need from me.
Hello to all. I am majoring in CIS and my current status on bronco direct says provisional admit. I receive the email saying that I’ve been admitted for fall 2015. On my to do list I need to pay my deposit, but what’s bothering me is that I wasn’t asked to submit my transcript. Before I pay my housing and deposit fee, has cpp ask for anyone transcripts that’s in a similar situation as mine? The reason I am asking because I have read some thread saying that once they receive your official transcript they can still denied you even though provisional admit.
@ka0sControl Yeah, They will ask us for final transcripts when our last semester is over because they wanna know if the courses we said were in progress on CSU Mentor are completed and that we passed them, i heard if you fail or drop any of those classes they could rescind your acceptance.
I think they just want to confirm that you for sure finished the golden four and all your Gen ed requirements… I said I was gonna take linear algebra but I wasn’t able to add the class… I really doubt they’ll deny you over something like that, I’m sure it happens all the time.
I spoke to the admissions office today and the guy i had spoke to said that, they will be asking for Transcripts beginning somewhere between April and March, since the deadline is July 15. I am admitted for fall 2015 (provisional admit), however i can still be denied admission once they review my transcripts. I hope i don’t get denied.
Hopefully see some you soon at the orientation.
Oh one more thing did anyone apply to frenso state or stanislaus and heard back from admission?
@jessies33 Congrats! I`m also in landscape architecture major and applied for 2015 fall, but still waiting for decision and there is nothing in the to do list. Did they ask you to send the portfolio before the decision released?
CPP was my first choice, but now every single time I check Indeed.com or talk to people on Land8.com regarding the future of our job market, its a bit discouraging. I think I’m going to wait to see if I get into CSULB for Industrial Design pending my portfolio review. Are you going to do a 2yr pledge?
@luis430
I wasn’t asked for a portfolio review. If they did, I assume it would all be perspective renderings.
Very surprising to see there has been any acceptance update this week so far. This feels like Christmas waiting to see whether I have been educationally naughty or not.
I just checked my broncodirect and now my green check mark is now displaying Incomplete. I am currently provisional admit for fall 2015. I paid for my deposit and soon will pay for the orientation. Is anyone in a similar situation as I am. It’s stressig me out.
Hey guys, I applied around October. My application has said Ready for Decision for at least a few months now. There’s nothing required for me to do as far my application goes. Should I be worried? I’m a business major with a 3.1 GPA and will have an AST.
@ka0sControl The same happened to me, but it’s because our application realistically is still incomplete. We haven’t submitted our final grades for spring semester nor gone to orientation, so it makes sense. As long as your application status still says provisional admit, you’re fine. Just make sure you pay attention to potential To-do’s, pay your ECD (which you’ve done), register/pay for orientation, submit your updated transcript (eventually), and actually attend orientation (also eventually). I’m not sure what other To-do’s we’ll have besides those, though. Hope this helps
@Lakersszn just be patient and hope for the best! i applied early november and my status is still ready for decision as well. i applied as a general biology major with a 3.36 GPA. goodluck to you! i hope i get something soon as well.
@marissamichelle If you are a transfer applying to an impacted major, which I think you are, we have a little more of a wait. I would say about 2 weeks, if we are lucky. There are still freshman waiting for decisions on impacted majors. Good luck.
