Hi All!
I applied to several colleges and only heard back from two, Stonybrook and Binghamton. Both of these colleges need my decision/deposit by May 1. However, I know for sure that a few of the colleges I have applied to will notify me of their decision after this date. I would hate to blow my options with two schools I was accepted to on the hopes that I gain admission to some other ones. In short, my questions are as follows:
- Why are these colleges setting themselves up for people to turn them down by giving such late decisions and leaving them to make choices out of desperation?
And…
- Does anybody know the transfer decision dates for the following colleges:
Duke, NYU, Cornell, Colgate and Columbia GS?
Any info would be great. I am an independent student, 32 years old and I need to make some moves if I will be transferring up or out of state. I will have to secure an apt, try to find a job and make moving arrangements before the beggining of the Fall semester.
This has been such a stressor and I can’t wait to just know what the heck is going on. Accepted or not, I just need to know so I can start making some plans.
Thanks to all responses.
