i would be fine with them saying they do not know when they will release decisions, but i asked someone on the phone and they said by friday. and here we are friday night, their office is closed and no decisions. and i think the housing is for freshman applicants

I’m so very frustrated that there’s no change. I’m pretty concerned. Haven’t heard anything about people being rejected yet though.
that’s what has me most concerned. but id honestly rather have any news good or bad, i need to find housing

This is pretty frustrating. I also spoke to an admissions director this week and they said that they would be releasing the results by this evening. Pretty much waiting in purgatory while this is going on…

well they brought clogged phone lines upon themselves. im normally a reasonable guy, but when an admissions officer says BY a certain day, i kind of expect to hear by that day. this is such a huge event in life, picking a college is no small matter. if they had said they do not know id be fine. but i need to know where i will be spending the next two years of my life, i have to sign up for orientation at one of the other schools i got into if i did not get into gw. clearly i am not the only one. the website says late may/early june, next friday is pretty much the middle of june. i submitted my application back in february, i know they need to figure out freshman first, but they have had plenty of time to review the transfer applications at this point. end rant
Ridiculous. called admissions on friday afternoon (the fifth) and was told " You’re actually in luck, all the admissions decisions should be out by tonight." Yeah thanks for giving me false relief which has now developed into frustration d bag
Just found out that i got into Milken on Wednesday, is anyone else relying on financial aid to go to GW?
@jonjacobjinkle well it seems as if they go out around 6ish… but the office closes at five, and there was no system failure like their was thursday, so maybe they didnt go out?
@gwgal123 i can not honestly say i am relying, but it will be a huge factor in my decision, did you get a financial aid package when you heard on wednesday?
