Off campus

Do you know of any nice apartments ? I found a couple but they all have bad reviews .

I know some apartments that are pretty cheap and seem nice, but they do not have very good reviews. There is The Commons, Seminole Grand, 1111 On High, College Club Townhomes, and Villa San Michele. If you do not need a cheap apartment, there are a lot of really nice apartments for students that run around $800 a month per person. There is The Block at FSU, 601 Copeland, Catalyst, Forum, Woodlands, The Axis at FSU, The Deck at FSU, U Club at Woodward, Luxe on West Call, Retreat at Tallahassee, and Campus Circle.

How long does it usually takes florida state to update your status after sending in transcripts?

Anywhere from 10-14 days

Major: Environmental Science non limited access
GPA: Will be around a 2.7-2.8 at time of application
AA Degree: Summer 2015

I am very nervous! I will be applying in May, hopefully that’s not too late but I want to get my GPA past a 2.5. I started at UCF (in 2012) but had a bad second and third semesters and got disqualified. I’ve been doing well at CC and my grade trend is definitely positive, but my .83 GPA from UCF is really bringing me down. Since FSU counts both grades that went towards grade forgiveness courses, I suppose the GPA they compute will be closer to a 2.6-2.7.

I’m a bit doubtful of my chances, but I am hoping for the best along with all of you!

you should be good roberts

I sent in my high school transcripts about a month ago and they still havent updated my online status. Should i call?

Major: Sports Management (Limited Access)
GPA: 3.17
AA Degree: after spring 2015
Accepted/Denied/Pending: Pending
Im Transferring from a CC in Central Florida and I am really nervous about getting into FSU, Its my dream school do you think I will get in?!?

@jadguy7, I would. There’s no harm in doing so just to make sure that there wasn’t any issue with them receiving what was sent.

Since it’s a limited access program, I think you’ll be close. I think you should be accepted, but they might require a 3.2 GPA like I’ve seen some other limited access programs at FSU require for you to be formally admitted.
