@fncrane I also just received an e-mail for the middle class scholarship.
Does anyone know about the Blue and Gold Scholarship? I definitely qualify for that but haven’t received anything about it. I know the MCS only required the FAFSA to be completed, but does Blue and Gold require something more?
Please check below for information provided to the financial aid office and to see any outstanding requests. Once in “Received” status, many documents (ex: Verification Forms, Tax Forms, Additional Financial Information Form, Appeals, etc.) require review by a financial aid counselor. A Financial Aid Notification will be generated once a counselor reviews your file and we will notify you via email when your FAN is available.
If you are a graduate student interested in receiving graduate support only (no work-study or loans), you do not have to respond to this request. You will receive notification of your graduate awards from the Graduate Division – Fellowships and Financial Services Office.
“Status” column will allow you to determine what information is needed.
“Access Form” link(s) will allow you to access and print forms, if needed.

I check myucla and found this It shows right after log in.
@sammycatt the B&G is not an actual scholarship but if you qualify, then it means they find the grants or funds somewhere to cover it. So when you get your actual package it will not say B&G anywhere as an actual scholarship, but you will have other grants up there. Do you understand what I’m saying?
@lindyk8 correct me if i’m wrong but you cannot get the middle class scholarship if you choose B&G. It’s either one or the other. at least that’s what a financial aid rep told me.
@sammycatt as long as you submitted your fafsa before the deadline and the income was less than 80,000 you will be qualified for B&G. Have you received your aid package from any UC’s?
