Log into your uc application and click view application. Your ID number will be at the top.
Not the uc application ID ;( I mean the UCLA ID to create my ucla portal, the 9 digit one. Not the 7 digit aplication Id
I came home to over 270 notifications for UCLA and thought that decisions were released. Thanks guysā¦ -_-

When you fill out a TAP certification form, your UCLA ID number is on there. Also, if you email them and ask a question, the email will have an ID number on it. Thatās what Iāve heard from other people.

Looking at this thread feels like watching a low speed chaseā¦nothing happening, but canāt stop watching.
So, I had emailed them with a question and saw that their response contained my UID number; naturally, I went to create a portal. I clicked ānew studentsā or something like that and went through and it let me make an account. Think it means anything or is just a fluke?
My major changed to my alt. major ā¦ Iām freaking out now.

@heatherheather I have no clue. This was my first time ever logging on to the decision page thanks to you all ha ha. I hope this is a good sign. fingers and toes crossed until decisions are released

@cassinthesky I emailed them about 2 weeks ago to make a correction to my spring in-progress courses, and I just noticed the response email had my UID in it to lol. Very interesting, but Iām too afraid to create an account 
Make one!!! See if it lets you!!! I feel like it wouldnāt let me go through with it if I were outright rejected, or it would just do nothing. Seems weird it let me make one! Iām just looking for any sign - getting desperate over here haha
Okay this is weird. I was waitlisted to UCLA when I applied as a freshmen and I still have the UID they gave me. And I just noticed it is the SAME UID that was given to me when I emailed them two weeks ago. Dang. I hope nothing is going wrong.
(Applying as a transfer this time if it is unclear haha)
@81Mamba donāt fret! the same thing happened to me with SFSU - I attended for a year and when I re-applied as my safety school it gave me the same ID. Same with Cal Poly SLO, actually, who rejected me in high school and accepted me now. 
It just remembers you.
does anyone think there is a chance that if you get denied for your initial major on the day they release decisions, that they will notify you about your second choice major on a second day?
or would they change your major in the portal to your backup before then?
