Have not heard from Engineering Honor, accepted into EE in November, just wonder if this long wait means something or not? Should lower expectation or what?
Has anyone been accepted into Engineering Honors? If so, when, and how much scholarship money did you receive?
I emailed a question regarding engineering scholarships, including those involved with EHP, and I was told they will be working on that over the next 2-3 weeks. Sounds like Cockrell is taking all of their admitted applicant pool and making decisions by the end of the month (Feb) on EHP and scholarship offers.
My son got accepted to Chem Eng honors with a scholarship offer of $10,000 a year
Also got accepted to Dean’s Scholar
Applied in Oct . Chem e acceptance in Dec and Dean’s in Jan
@2020csmom: Applied Honor or Engineering in Oct? My daughter applied engineering in Oct and Honor in December.
My son got accepted to ChemE with honors, with a scholarship offer of $10,000 a year as well.
Applied to both ChemE / EHP / Plan II in Sept. as an auto-admit with Plan II acceptance in Dec.
@psywar, where is your son leaning now, Alabama CBHP or Plan II/Engineering/EHP? Just curious, as I am in the same situation.
@ConcertoinD He hasn’t made up his mind yet. He likes both programs and will spend time over the next few weeks to sort it all out. He has been very lucky to have been offered admission to Princeton as well. I don’t think he’ll make up his mind until he hears the results of a few scholarship programs (Brown, Forty Acres) as well the results to his Rice, Harvard and Stanford applications. He is very patient, I am not
My dad is not patient either. I am still waiting on Yale, Duke, and Harvey Mudd. I was accepted EA Georgia Tech, Texas Plan II Honors and Cockrell ECE…and a finalist for Alabama’s CBHP.
