Fall 2016 schedule

I know it’s really early in the year, but I want to have some opinion of my POTENTIAL fall 2016 schedule. Taking calc 1 over the summer. I’ve been preparing since of December as I’ve been practicing my algebra skills. I’m taking Precalc this semester!! There will be two schedules I will put down. Trying to transfer for Fall 2017! Spring 2016 will be my last at CC. Going to apply to Penn State this coming September.

  1. Calculus 2: 4 Credits
Physics 1: 4 credits (will be taking this at Utica college)
    General Chemistry 2: 4 credits
    Discrete Mathematics: 4 credits
    = 16 credits

  2. Calculus 2: 4 credits
    Physics 1: 4 credits
    Discrete Mathematics: 4 credits
    = 12 credits

Thanks all!

Spring 2017* is my last semester!

This is what my Spring 2017 schedule will look if either option I pick
Calculus 3: 4 credits
Physics 2:4 credits
=8

Not sure what to take

no one :frowning:

You can always email admissions. I would think they could give you advice or tell you who to talk to about what they would like to see.

As kvillemom says, you need to discuss this with Penn State or a knowledgeable advisor at your CC. No one on the internet can tell you what to take because it is dependent on major.

Way too little information.

What is it you are really asking?

Are these courses good for my major? Are these courses going to get me accepted? Are these courses too hard? …

ask your counselor, I’d imagine they’re far more reliable and knowledgeable about your course selection than some random people on the Internet.

What are you thoughts on JUST the course schedule itself.

@NASA2014 I took physics 2, gen chem 1, and calc 3 at the same time before. Its a lot of time in class and you have to be really good at time management. Personally i thought gen chem 2 was WAY easier than gen chem 1. If you think you can handle all 4 of those classes and do well then i say go for it.

Thank you @crazywango. I’ve decided to take Chem 2 over the summer and take Organic in the fall.
