Hi guys !

Since we are 12 days away from decision, let’s have a discussion of any kind !

Where are you guys transferring from and what major?

Im transferring from California CC for economics major !

I’m transferring from Bates College as a history major. Claremont is my first choice so I’m really hoping I get in.

I’m transferring from Colgate University as a Financial Economics major! CMC is also my first choice! Wow we will hear back in less than 48 hours! Good luck to you both!

@anna38 goodluck ! I hope to see you in Fall since I will 100% attend CMC if I get in :). Do you apply to any other college?

@resonanx I applied to one other as a backup but if I get into CMC, I am definitely attending! The acceptance rate for transfers is so low, it’s like a Stanford! Did you do an interview or a video response?

Best of luck to everyone! I’m a California Community College student looking to transfer. CMC is my first choice, but I got into my backups–UCSD, UCLA, and UC Berkeley. I did not do the optional video response. Did anyone?

@resonanx You’re about right for the transfer rates. Of their offered data, Fall 2014 was their most selective term, 7.52%, while Spring 2013 was their most receptive, 40.3%. Overall, of the 1405 transfer application from Spring 2013-Fall 2015, they accepted 195, or 13.88%.

@drbleedr yeah I agree. I hope that for Fall 2016 they can be more receptive… by the way, what’s ur major? hahaha

@resonanx Oh! haha, hopefully Philsophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE), or Philosophy and Public Affairs. I’m a Poli Sci major at UCSD/UCLA/UC Berkeley. Whats your Cali CC?
