They send out decisions as they review applications, and they will release a bunch of decisions weekly.
I guess as the AOs read our applications, they separate us into groups: 1 definitely competent enough to be admitted–> acceptance; 2 sadly definitely not what they want–> rejection; 3 although competent but not so strongly that way–> consider again with the next wave whether admit or waitlist or reject; 4 sadly not competitive but somehow hooked–> consider again with the next wave whether admit or waitlist or reject; 5 (most likely appear in final rounds) qualified but not so much or they have already admitted the same kind–> waitlist.
This is just a guess though
Has anyone who’s been accepted gotten financial aid info yet? I’ve checked CAESAR everyday since I got in (April 6) and still nothing. Says to call the financial aid office, and when I did, they just said these things take time. Anyone have a package yet?

Essay: Not the greatest. NU was simply not my top school, so it was difficult to “fake” passion for the school.
Update on financial aid: I called to review if they had all my documents (which I sent a while ago before the deadline). They did not have some of them. The lady I spoke with was very helpful though. I sent the documents via email and they got back to me within hours saying I will get my financial aid package within 2 weeks. Those of you who haven’t received yours either, you should call and confirm they have all the docs required just in case. Hang in there, if the freshmen posters are any indication, we should receive about what we got with the net price calculator, which by the way, is not working and I can’t recall my results. Those of you who got rejected, I’m sorry to hear that and I hope you find a school where you’ll be happy.
Guys I’m very scared. Please let me know if you can share any knowledge regarding this. So as a consequence of me taking classes I hated and were specially though, and also me being very scattered throughout the semester I will not get good grades this semester. I will possibly get 4 B’s and one A, and maybe even a C. Do you think this might endanger my acceptance? I’ve already been accepted but I’m scared they will revoke the offer of admission when they see my grades this semester. Does anyone have any clue? I of course will do everything in my power to get the best grades possible but most of the damage has already been done.

You might be in danger tbh. That’s a significant grade point drop from where I’m assuming you were when you applied. But that might not necessarily be happen; I read somewhere that admissions revoking is only for extremes like falling a class.

Have we established decisions only come out on Wednesdays? Or will it transition into Tuesday/Thursdays like last year?
@booklover97 Someone posted last year’s decision wave dates a few pages back, and it seems to fall on either a Tuesday/Wednesday (always around 6pm EST). So far, this year seems in-line with that.
I feel like my rejection is on its way–so nervous for today’s wave!
