Fall 2016 Transfer Thread

Looks like people have made transfer threads in the past. Anybody else applying to transfer and want to share?

On the Emory Admission transfer page it says a notification will come out at the “end of April”. Do you guys interpret this as the 29th (Friday)? Or earlier that week?

Hopefully we hear soon!

@ninadasiy I hope so too. What are your stats like?

Bump

I’m just going to keep bumping this until we get some replies. Please post.

lol Anyone have an idea of when they will release decisions? I have view decision on my portal but it says I can’t view it yet.

I’m hoping somebody with knowledge has some insight. Looking on previous transfer threads, my guess is the 29th. Hopefully a week earlier as I have an exam the next morning.

Yeah I’m guessing it will be the 29th too

The website says the end of April - but the 29th seems logical as it’s the last Friday in April. Schools seem to like to release decisions at the end of the day on Friday presumably to not be bombarded with incessant phone calls. Understandable. Plus, some (not all in the case of transfers) get to be around family while opening their letter, which is nice!

Does everyone have the view decision?

I have that but it brings me to a page saying it’s not available. What are yalls stats like?

I’m applying as a Bio major with a 3.73 GPA from San Diego State and a 31 ACT

Looks good. I’m applying as a poly sci with 3.4 from a large state school. I’m a sophomore now so maybe that’ll help, as I will have close to 60 credits hours by the end of this semester.

Could anyone chance me?
