Post here when you’ve received an admissions decision for Fall 2016 transfer application! I applied January 31 (from a private out of state liberal arts school) to Elliot School of International Affairs and haven’t heard back yet.
I applied as well for the fall of 2016 and am waiting for the decision letters! i think they should be out by end of May?

Would any fall 2016 transfer applicants be willing to post their stats?
Decisions should be released by April 1 if you applied before March 1. March 1 was also the financial aid deadline.
My stat… I also applied to the business school
Transferring from 4-year state university in NY acquired 45 credits, 17 in progress. cumulative gpa 3.86, major 3.94 various extra curricular experiences, law firm internship, +200 hours of volunteer work abroad, +100 hours at local, found two different clubs, accounting peer tutor, one recommendation letter from Harvard grad professor.
But… I applied Feb 29 (the lsat day), not very strong essay, international student, haven’t taken SAT/ACT, my financial statements haven’t marked as received yet. Any chance… I really wanna get in
I thought they send out notifications starting on May 1st
@transferme1 Online it says you will receive notification by “early May”. Will call their office to get more information. This is unusually late and extremely unfortunate, as some schools need transfer notification of enrollment by May 1.

I applied on March 1 and here are my stats:
transfer from 4-year university, played a division one sport (recruited as a sophomore in high school)
3.1 cumulative GPA/ 4.0 current (taking 17 credits)
SAT: 1980
EC: decent, not the best because of sport taking too much time
wrote a pretty good essay for the application
@collegegirl854 what major did you apply? I think you have a good chance, considering your current gpa 4.0 and your career at a sport team. Good luck!

Their website only says transfers will receive a decision by May 1.
Did anyone else not receive their GWID? I figured they’d send them out closer to decisions since I didn’t get an email right after I applied but it seems like you all have yours. I tried calling but was on hold for over 10 minutes 4 different times
I had to email my advisor to receive my GWID.
Admissions just posted the following on their official twitter account…
“Attn #GWU transfer applicants: We will release fall 16 decisions in phases based on when apps completed. 1st release will be in the nxt week”
So this would mean we should all keep an eye out over the next week! Good luck everyone!
Does anyone know if they release decisions on the GW Activities Portal or just through snail mail?
I applied to school of business, I think they will post decisions on the portal.
Here’s what it indicates
